      We have used Pinellas County Electric for 10 years. Kevin and his team have always gone out of their way for us. They are reasonably priced and perform excellent work!

      This company has excessive billing rates. They charged me $200 for 1/2 hour to install a fan and $75 to install a fire alarm, then proceeded to tell me their employee was here for 1.5 hours and I was underbilled. The employee started at 8am and they emailed me the bill at 9:03 am! My ring doorbell camera shows him walking out the door with his tools and ladder at 9:05 am after calling his office for the Bill and collecting my check. $200 for 1/2 hour work is effectively $400 an hour and there was no disclosure of this prior to receiving the bill. Beware! Do not trust this company.

      ******, I see you are finding your way around the web nicely, thank you for the review. I am sorry we didn't meet your expectations. We really strive for success. With that said we also realize there are people never satisfied, and our hearts go out to those of you.

      Our service rates for troubleshooting are gone over with you at the time of appointment on a recorded line.

      When troubleshooting, we offer a combined trip charge with the first half hour to identify the problem. Then we work off a tiered flat rate pricing from our national based price book.

      In your case, you had a concern with the wiring to a ceiling fan. So, our guy took components apart verifying all the wiring was safe, for you! Instead of charging you the full amount, we charged 1/2 before anything mentioned.

      Then, you asked for a ceiling fan replacement that you supplied, and that is a flat rate fee as all other electrical contractors.

      Then you asked us to replace a smoke detector which we also did and chalked in up within the first 1/2 hour troubleshooting fee. We typically would of charge another task for that, but we did not.

      So, to recap your upset about paying a professional licensed insured and bonded electrical contractor $275 for
      1) Troubleshooting of ceiling fan circuit
      2) Ceiling fan installation
      3) smoke detector installation
      Not sure how much more generous we could of been

      You call and complain, and I then offer you a Publix gift card, and you told me "oh, go **** yourself that's an insult " and hung up. If you like, the offer is still there.

      You continue to deceive. Your company did zero trouble shooting, you hung a ceiling fan where the ceiling hardware already existed. You called me a liar by stating your employee was here for 1.5 hours and ignored the ring door bell video provided you of his coming and going times with his ladder and tools. You billed me for the time he sat on the bumper of your truck smoking before he knocked on my door. You told me I was underbilled and insulted wit an offer of a grocery gift card rather than a refund of your overbilling. You are extremely deceptive in your billing. I wished I'd checked Angies list before making an appointment with you as others before me have similar complaints. My lesson learned and I hope others learn from me rather than get caught my your deception.
