We were on a service contract with this company for several years ( also several years before with same company by previous name “ One Hour Air” ) for which they deduct $16 per month from our bank acct. Never had problems until late 2022 they told us they would not work on Mini Split units we added to the property. Therefore sometime before Jan 2023 we asked them by phone to cancel our contract -they said the would do so immediately. After multiple phone calls & empty promises we started writing things down - pls see attached detailed certified letter ( which they never picked up and recently was returned to us). In Jan 2024 we finally went in person to our bank and had them stop payments to Bay Breeze. We are looking for reimbursement of $192 ( $16 X 12 months). We can supply bank statements if needed

Bay Breeze A/C contacted us about a year ago and said they bought out our old A/C service providers customers who was doing business as One Hour A/C.One hour A/C installed our base model ******* 2 ton 14 seer unit for $5500 7 years prior and, unbeknownst to me at the time, gave us a full 10 year parts and labor warranty who Bay Breeze says they cannot honor but will give us a good discount on labor so we hire them as our new service provider.Flash forward to two weeks ago when our A/C catches on fire and BB comes out, The technician asks me to find the warranty info at which point I learn of the full parts and labor warranty, I always thought when you buy a business the new owner assumes the old businesses assets as well as their prior commitments so I question them and they of course tell me 'that's not true'.After investigating this claim I find that the old owner '***************************' of One Hour that installed our A/C 7 years ago and gave us the warranty is also an owner at Bay Breeze. After speaking with **** about the fire he said he would order the parts, schedule a time, and get it fixed. So now after 2 weeks goes by with no word from them I call them, the office girls do not know what's going on so I tell 'Catie' to have **** call me at which point she said I was being "Rude and sarcastic" and hung up on me.At this point I do not see how 'B.B A/C' can remedy this problem and we have called another A/C company to help us but I want people to be aware of their practices.

I am very sorry that you had this experience, My self ( **** ) and *************************** did both work for One Hour Air Conditioning and had Stock options. But we were not owners of the company. We did buy the customer base, not the business or its obligations when the Owner closed down. We started Bay Breeze and bought the customer base, the reason we offer a diacount to previous customers is because we felt like it was the right thing to do. I am sorry once again for your negative experience!

On July 23rd 2022 lightening struck outside my home and it affected several items which had to be reset. I was getting very warm in the evening and was not aware until bed time that I realized my air conditional was not working. I am physically disabled! Sunday evening I became severely ill due to the heat. I called One Hour Air also known as Bay Breeze Air because I was a previous customer of One Hour Air. I called Sunday night and twice Monday morning. I received a call back Monday morning. I explained after the lightening strike Saturday afternoon I lost air conditioning which I did not become aware until late in the evening. I told them I tried turning off the air conditioning and turning it back on at the thermostat and it did not restart. I turned it to off for the night. Next morning I turned it on, it came on, temperature dropped by one degree and shut off. My husband recycled the breaker in breaker panel, nothing. When technician Errol M*** came from Bay Breeze Air on Monday, I explained what the problem was, air not running and unlabeled to restart it. He asked me if I reset the breaker in the box behind the air conditioning unit, I said no, that I did not know about it. He went out and reset something in the box. He did not trouble shoot the problem. He did not look at the breaker or breaker panel or check the thermostat. I asked him about thermostat. The air was restarted on Monday afternoon and today, Wednesday afternoon my air conditioning shut down again. (No storm in my area today) We tried to manually run the fan tonight but it does not turn on. The technician, I feel was not qualified or trained, in our opinion. Obviously this company is not a professional service as they did not trouble shoot the problem or correct the problem so now I have to suffer again without air conditioning due to their negligence. I feel I was ripped off for $***** because I don't have air conditioning after 2 days. I want the $***** credited back to my **** card.
