December 27,2021 booked this hotel room through Priceline. Arrived at hotel. Paid a $50 required deposit. The desk worker became belligerent when I asked what the $50 fee was for. She told me I could leave if I didn't like it. I was only asking a question. I paid, And got the room keys. The entrance door was open when we arrived and did not shut. Leaving the door open to outside. My husband tried several times and the door did not shut. The light bulbs in the bedroom were all burned out. The room smelled of mold, triggering my asthma. There was mold growing in the bathroom where the only working light was located. There were several holes in the wall and door to bathroom. Paint chips flaking off the exposed drywall netting on the bathroom door when we opened and shut it . Main complaint was air quality and safety as the door did not shut along with lack of lighting. We went to find the front desk worker. Who was pacing and smoking outside. Seemed like she was under the influence of drugs. Once she returned to the front desk, the She said they could not offer another room as they only had king beds, not the double room like we booked. and could not give a refund. Priceline would also not give a refund. She could not send anyone to look at door. She could not provide a screwdriver to fix the screw that blocked the door from shutting. The hotel desk worker appeared on drugs and was speaking belligerently and aggressive to my husband and I since check out began. Now I am out the hotel costs with nowhere to stay tonight. I would expect a hotel room to offer a safe door that shuts along with lighting and a mold free room. It's hard to attach photos with lack of lighting. But I have a coupleBusiness response
