Team Sherrod are crooks and the most unprofessional individuals to work with. During the sale the buyer wanted me to extend the closing date. They were having a hard time closing the sale of their condo. I requested 500 a week (1000) plus 800 for Feb Lot rent. I was told by my agent that she didn't want her office to get involved with the 800..and I should trust her and the buyers verbal agreement. Ask for it in text I said. They text back agreeing. At the same time the 1000 was run through the office and an amendment contract was made. Electronically signed by me and the buyer. They sent the 1k to Team Sherrod that day, that specifically says these funds will go directly to me. So, I let them extend the closing date. Mind you, Team Sherrod had nothing to do during this time. I was the only one at a loss for it not being shown to anyone and a risk of not having the sale go through. Smart me right? No I told team Sherrod about the 800, they said a text isn't a legal document, I shouldn't have been asked by their agent to go outside of contact and I would probably never see this. I wrote this off.The sale didn't go through. I received a document to release deposits that were made from the buyer (the initial and 1k). To be shared with Team Sherrod and myself. I replied asking why the 1000 was included The owner of Team Sherrod called me to explain this. I kid you not.. she said "since the sale did not go through "technically" you aren't the seller so we will be splitting the 1k". My friend was listening and her mouth dropped. I asked for the title back and she brought that to me today. Again, I had a friend with me and I wanted to clarify her statement and sure enough she said the same thing. In addition, she said I'm lucky to get any part of the 1000 at all..........what? When I said "so you're saying you don't give a **** about sellers" she said we're done talking and nearly ran me and my friend over with her car... These people are crooks.
