A balance to a medical bill that was sent to collections while I was waiting on answers from my then insurance company as to why services were not paid. Practice Forces proceed to send my account to a collection agency. I proceeded to request a removal but was then told unable to do so I started payment plan of which I paid $600 of $1800 balance. I recently spoke with the collection agency in February of 2022 requesting them removed my account from my credit report, of which they say since I have paid such they will. On March 8, 2022 I received a bill from the original billing company PracticeForces of a incorrect balance of 1300, I spoke with a representative informing her of the incorrect balance but proceeded to pay $50 because I didn't want to be late, the representative asurred me that they will correct the balance and send a email to the credit collector letting them know that the account is back with them and for them to close the account. Well a month later the balance as not been adjusted and the collection agency still have not received the email to close the account. I spoke with their manager Palurg she then told me I need to pay $200 in order for her to have the account closed with the collection agency and she will do so immediately and send me a email. She have not contacted me or send me a email, I called their office multiple times this morning and they keep sending me to her voicemail. Paulg have no intention of updating my correct balance but instead wants to collect money from me and have the collection agency also collect payment from me, I have been charge by two companies for the same bill. This is unfair to me as a consumer. Please help.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/04/19) */ We are continuously in contact with the patient. Due to system error she got statement of $ 50.00 but there was no intention to charge the patient twice. Her account was also pulled from Credit Bureau. We are surprised to see this complaint, There have been atleast 5-7 phone calls made to the patient Consumer Response /* (2000, 7, 2022/04/21) */ (The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
