The vet told me he had upper respiratory infection and he was severely undernourished and I was also told that his legs were too long to be a purebred. He is not a purebred.dachshund I was told I cant get anyone to respond to me. I cant call anyone that isnt in the *********** and they dont even know how to reach anyone. I want my money back. This is ridiculous. I paid a lot of money for what I was told was a purebred and it was not, I couldve gotten the same from Anyone and not paid a ridiculous amount for a dog I do realize you pay more for a pure bread so thats why I paid the money but with him not being a purebred Im a little upset

      Hello!

As stated in the contract, the puppy is covered by LIMITED WARRANTY for viral/bacterial issues or expenses incurred within the first 14 days of purchase and genetic issues within the first year of purchase (excluding the maintenance unrelated to viral/bacterial issues, such as vaccines, shots, immunizations, supplements, nutrition, neuter/spay, etc.)

We have not received a formal claim/request at ******************************************* as instructed by the client services team to be able to open an investigation for the concern. The client refused to file it.
In order for us to review the request, the client must need to send the paperwork from the veterinarian, purchase contract as well as any proof of puppy not being pure breed as claimed.

      We appreciate the cooperation.

Business is not warranty a Hereditary health issues of my dog see recent correspondence below and have many more I can share dog cost was ******* and surgery was ***** and dog needs one additional surgery for another ***** I am writing to you in regard to the recent events concerning the surgery performed on my pet, as well as the additional surgery required for my pet's left rear leg. Furthermore, I am seeking clarification on Blue Sky Puppies' obligations under ******* Statute ****** and exploring all warranty options available to me as a consumer.Throughout our correspondence, I have diligently sought clarity on the requirement for prior approval before surgical procedures can be undertaken on my pet. Despite my efforts, I have not been able to locate any explicit provision within ******* Statute ****** or any related agreements that mandates such prior approval. To ensure a thorough understanding of my rights and responsibilities as a consumer, I have consulted with the ************************** During our communication, I emphasized the necessity of clarity regarding the approval process for providing care to a suffering pet. Given the seriousness of this matter, I am seeking definitive clarification from your legal team on this particular aspect.Furthermore, I wish to bring to your attention the additional surgery required for my pet's left rear leg, which is estimated to cost $*****. We are currently seeking approval for this surgery and reimbursement for the procedure costs, as it is essential for my pet's well-being and in accordance with our contractual agreements and ******* law.It is imperative to me that my pet's welfare is prioritized, and any necessary medical expenses incurred due to the surgeries performed on my pet are adequately addressed in accordance with the law. This communication serves as my final attempt to resolve this matter amicably before seeking legal representation.

      Hello!

The client, *************************** has had her pet undergo surgery without waiting for approval or further instructions from the warranty team. We have not denied her assistance for the veterinary care of her pet. We are here to help and the initial submitted claim has been approved for refund of her pet's purchase price as an assistance to the veterinary expenses. Also, according to the ******* Pet Lemon Law or Statute ******, since they decided to keep the puppy, they have the option:

      (c) The right to retain the animal and receive reimbursement for reasonable veterinary costs for necessary services and treatment related to the attempt to cure or curing of the dog or cat.
Reimbursement for veterinary costs may not exceed the purchase price of the animal. The cost of veterinary services is reasonable if comparable to the cost of similar services rendered by other licensed veterinarians in proximity to the treating veterinarian and the services rendered are appropriate for the certification by the veterinarian.

They only presented diagnosis and invoice of the puppy's patellar luxation on the right leg (please see attached vet's note) and now they are claiming that the puppy also needs to undergo surgery on the left leg for another $3000 without veterinary documents presented.

Though in accordance with the Pet Lemon Law that we are allowed and required ONLY to refund up to the purchase price of the dog since they chose to keep their pet, as a customer service courtesy, we will review further documentation once sent and seek amicable agreement regarding this claim/request.

      Complaint: 21415456

I am rejecting this response because:

My dog, **** was diagnosed on Saturday, January 6th.  The BlueSky warranty department was notified of said surgery on January 7th via email at 9:12 am.  I sent a follow up email on January 8th, January 9th, January 11th all with no responses.  I tried to call on January 8th and was told they only communicate via email.

BlueSky 1st response was on January 26 at 6:38 p.m. requesting documents.  I find this very difficult that I'm supposed to leave my pet in this much pain and hear her crying for 19 days until you send a generic response.  This just tells me that the care and wellbeing of the pets sold are not respected.  I responded to the January 26th email on January 29th and I was told again I needed to wait 15 business days for a response.  Under ******* statues I should be provided three options, I was only provided one.  They are assuming I'm keeping this dog, I was never provided an option to return!

Again, I'm asking for what is owed to me under ******* law, which I have retained a lawyer as well and they are in agreement, I should be paid the cost of the dog and the one surgery.  All of my documents and communications are attached.

It's hard to seek approval when you don't answer emails, do you have this many warranty claims that you need fifteen + days to respond.    I want ALL options provided to me, including returning the pet.

      Hello!

The client has taken action to perform the surgery before sending all paperwork to review the claim. With the decision made and surgery done, it only meant that they are to keep the puppy and that the claim sent is already been resolved since the diagnosis was only the right leg as what was written and indicated in the veterinary paperwork. We did not deny them assistance, in fact they are approved for the full refund of the puppy purchase cost which they rejected because apparently, the puppy also has problem on the left leg which were never proven nor sent any documents over to process this new claim. Again, as we have mentioned previously, we are very much willing to review your claim/request should you present the veterinary diagnosis. Kindly send the documents.

I am rejecting this response because: you are still not providing me three options under Florida State Statues.  Also, how inhumane to wait three weeks and leave a dog in pain.  This explains a lot about blue sky.  Please provide me the three options available.

On Saturday, February 17th, I visited Blue Sky Puppies in search of a dog. I looked at a golden retriever and a husky. Although the husky was my preference I was concerned about the green mucus and cough that he had. I was assured by ****** it was fine, but redirected multiple times to the golden retriever. On Monday, I went to the vet listed on the documents which was in Treasure Island nearly a 3 hour round trip. I again expressed my concern over the green mucus. My concerns were not addressed. I was however advised that he had an undescended t******* Although not an initial health concern, it would be diagnosable at the 8 week check up in which his health was certified. This falls under congenital and/or genetic disorder and does result in a more extensive surgery during neuturing. The following day, last Tuesday I noticed that the mucus had gotten worse and breathing was labored. I made an emergency visit in which he was diagnosed with an Upper Respiratory Infection, in addition two staples were found in his stomach. This was found in an xray to rule out pnuemonia. I immediately contacted Blue Sky and referenced ******* Statute ***** in which it is illegal to sell an animal with a contagious disease and/or congenital and/or genetic disorder. I choose option (C) to retain the puppy and request a refund to deal with future expenses. This request was denied. They advised I could have the surgery at their vet right away and not at my vet who recommends waiting until a year. I have additional follow up appointments and xrays which will result in additional charges, including the more involved surgery next December. This business takes advantages of consumers and sells sick puppies which is against the law under ******* Statute *****. I have requested a refund of $1650.00 for additional visits, surgery, time off of work and travel. Unless they are held accountable, this will happen to more people just looking for a puppy or in my case an emotional support dog.

      Hello!

We are in contact, with the client, *******************************. Her pet is covered by limited warranty for viral/bacterial issues for veterinary expenses incurred within the first 14 days of purchase and genetic issues within the first year of purchase (excluding the maintenance unrelated to viral/bacterial issues, such as vaccines, shots, immunizations, supplements, nutrition, etc.) on the CONDITION that the consumer can provide a signed certification by a licensed veterinarian that the puppy is unfit for sale at the time of purchase. The client refused to accept the reimbursement option for viral/bacterial issue as well as for the cryptorchidectomy and wanted a full refund and keep the puppy. She has not submitted the necessary requirement yet to be able for us to further review her request.

We really liked the looks of the puppy we saw that was advertised on the Blue Sky Puppies website as a mini poodle. But when we went to see it, we knew it was not a full blooded mini poodle since we have had others. They insisted he is a full blooded mini poodle and the sales lady even went as far as to say that his straight hair was puppy hair and the curly mini poodle hair would grow in as he matures. We knew she was just selling us. We called the breeder in ******** and she sent the parents registration papers and a picture of the puppy. The puppy in the picture is definitely not the one we bought. She assured us that she breeds registered mini poodles. She told us she sold the pup to another party in ******** who must have then sold the puppy to Blue Sky. It is apparent Blue sky is involved in puppy mill schemes. Their recommended vet told us the puppy is not a full blooded mini poodle. In fact, he put it in writing. We called to talk to a manager and was told someone would call us back. Crickets. That was a week ago. Fortunately the pup is adjusting nicely and is healthy. Caveat emptor (let the buyer beware) when dealing with this outfit. They are shady at best.

I purchased a Pembroke Welsh Corgi on 8/13/2023 at approximately 7:40 pm. I paid $706.30 onMy Debit card and had financed the remaining amount of $2600.00 through Easy Pay that they had me do. I took the dog home and dog was sick and vomiting and diarrhea and ****** stool. I contacted them and they told me to bring the dog back and they would refund me on 8/14/2023 at 7:10 pm less than 24 hours I returned the puppy ~ My money was not refunded and they wouldnt give me the dog back. They stole My money and the dog and I have NOT received my refund as promised nor proof that the loan was cancelled. I asked for a refund and proof of refund they text me a refund receipt which was supposed to be $706.30 and a copy that was supposedly sent to cancel the loan agreement with easy pay ~ I left the store and went home. I checked my account before leaving the store it showed a pending refund which was cancelled after I left the store ~ I contacted my bank at 2:30 am to dispute the charge and they verified the the refund transaction was cancelled by them. They Stole My Money and the puppy. If You look at the 2 bank statements one shows which I screenshot before I left the store showing a pending refund and then the one after I got home 2 hours drive each way where its not on My account to be refunded. Date on bank statement shows payment only for Blue Sky puppies processed out on 11/14/2023 ~ No Refund.

We already sent an email to easypay financing for loan cancellation and easypay financing replied stating the loan's already cancelled. *********************** was CC'd on email as well. For bank settlement, we've already processed the refund and might take **** business days to reflect on his account.

And the puppy was checked immediately upon return and puppy was overall doing okay. And the customer didn't purchase it last 08/13/2023 but 11/13/2023, customer returned it on the 14th of November and we were able to process refund the same day.

I purchased a puppy from Blue Sky Puppies on 03/18/23. The puppy showed concerning signs of behavior issues so I was instructed by Blue Sky Puppies to take her to their preferred vet ************************ on 03/19/23. The vet took a look at her in 5 minutes and said shes healthy and thats it. He didnt seem interested in seeing ** again after telling me that I should get Blue Sky to take the puppy back if she keeps having issues. On 03/20/23 I spoke with *** and asked to return the puppy and she said no returns. I was promised in writing 2 dog training courses with the purchase of my puppy by *****, but when I contacted her, she stated that she moved out of state and wants them to stop giving out her info to customers. I called several times asking for assistance with this issue and *** would tell me that shell text me a contact twice but she never does. I also emailed them and they wont respond as of 03/28/23. For the last 3 days the puppy has shown very concerning signs of behavioral issues by biting me several times including the face several times. Shes scaring my son with her behavioral issues as well. Were very concerned about the puppies behavior and it scares us. I feel like once Blue Sky Puppies got my money and pressured me into giving them a 5 star ****** review before leaving the store with the puppy for a bag of food, they really stop providing good customer service.
