On 1/23/2023 I called Inspire Pharmacy to see if they had Adderall in stock as the national shortage is making it very difficult to obtain. I spoke to the pharmacist **** and he let me know they have a 40 out of the 60 pills I needed and they told me to transfer my prescription and they will do a partial fill, I tried to confirm my insurance and everything before but he wouldnt do that until he had a prescription. I called my doctor and he transferred the prescription. I called to confirm they got the prescription and he said he did and it will be $80 cash or $100 card to pick up. I asked if he had my insurance and he said yes but he will not be using my insurance because he wont make enough money from it and I have to pay out of pocket, I said okay and I called my insurance to see about reimbursement options and they told me they he filed a claim through them already and my copay was processed for $13, I immediately called ***************** and told them I spoke to my insurance and he said h*** give it to me for my copay ONLY if I agreed to transfer a different prescription as well so he can bill my insurance twice, I told him I dont have any other prescriptions I need right now and he told me to call my doctor and ask for anything even if I dont need it, he wont give me the adderall without another prescription. I transferred my **** (emergency contraception) prescription to him and he told me that works and both will be ready to be picked up tomorrow. He then called me later to tell me they are out of **** and will give me MyWay which doesnt require a prescription and h*** charge me $80 fee for that, even though at my local ********* its $8.99 and h*** only give me the adderall if I pay the $80 for the MyWay and the $13 copay for the adderall. This pharmacy is scamming people who are in desperate need of medication.Business response

Pharmacy manager has spoken to the customer and resolved the misunderstanding. She mentioned that she will contact BBB to withdraw the complaint.Customer response
