I received a 2021 Form 1099 - NEC which states that my LLC ( ********* ) has a Non-Employee Compesation of $ 163425.31 and is being furnished to IRS from Kaba Consulting, Inc. 17011 FL - 50 STE 303 Clermont, FL 34711 as return address on the envelope. I called 352 243 8460 on Feb.10, 2022 at 4 p.m. and spoke to Ellah and clarified to her that I do not have a business/working relationship with them. She said that she will refer the situation to their accountant. I received a call from 352 432 0778 on 2/10/2022 at 4:20 p.m. and he identified his name as Mr. P****** an accountant and claims it's a mistake. I asked how did they get my LLC, address and Tax ID number where in fact I do not have a business/working relationship with them. He replied it might be from the company that sent out the notice. They have the payer' name as*************************************************************************** Phone number is the same as Kaba 352 243 8460. I told him how can you make a mistake and send a fraudulent notice to a company that is not even your client.. Something is not right.
