-Occurred over the course of May 2023 -Paid $550 for an appraisal that was completely incorrect, late and experienced multiple issues of poor customer service. -The appraiser didn't even complete the job he was hired to do. He instead had 2 "student appraisers" do the appraisal on a very complicated property that resulted in an erroneous value being placed on our subject property home. -The company never stepped foot on the property to assess it. How could they appraise a property they've never seen? (they provided photos in the report proving they never came to the property). -Used outdated and inappropriate comparative homes. Did not account for extra bedrooms, bathrooms, square footage or acreage. -Turned in appraisal report over 2 weeks late due to the need for MULTIPLE corrections before the lender could even consider accepting it. -When called to ask where the report was, they did not respond for almost 2 weeks and then when asked again by my wife and I, their receptionist, Becky hung up in our ear. Lovely customer service. -Stated during their period of being MIA that the appraiser was "too sick" to send the report via email and we had to wait several more days before it was received. -Zero communication with the lender or appraisal management company for days on end when report was well past due. -All around this appraisal company botched their job completely and are beyond unprofessional to boot. Wouldn't recommend them to anyone.
