Went to dentist for my whole family. We used my insurance and paid cash when we left for the balance. Then I received a collection call on an outstanding balance that no one in the office could tell me exactly what it was for. Just an outstanding balance. I asked them to review it because we paid cash. They never got back on what it was for. When back in to pay the balance and now they are saying they want 100 MORE dollars plus the balance owed.Initial Complaint

Our Family of 5 people came to open house and decided to try new dentist who is closer to our home. We said that we are currently under a different dentist and can provide all necessary X-rays. We were told that we do not have to worry about anything and that they will take X-rays again but we will not be billed for them. My son got billed differently and now the dentist is asking to pay 55 dollars even though they promised that we will not be billed anything extra. I spoke with their billing department on several occasions and on 3/27 was told that the issue is resolved, however I am still receiving a bill. A different representative on 4/11 said, we still own a deductible. In my discussion I repeated that we had all the x-rays on hand and were told that we will not be billed during exams, but the person on the phone disagreed. I am asking to adjust the bill (attached) as promised, that we will not be responsible for any additional X-rays that the dentistry decided to take because we offered them.Initial Complaint

Received a bill for $565.15 for the balance due for Dental Bridge that they said was not covered by my Insurance. I paid $603.15 on 08/25/2022 to Royal Oaks Dental Care for services that they claimed I owed them. After checking with my insurance company, Met Life, I found out that they paid the $565.15 to Royal Oaks Dental Care. I also found out that Royal Oaks Dental Care was also billed me for services that my spouse received. Any dental services that he received should have been billed to his account and paid by him. I am still receiving bills claiming I owe additional money. A letter was mailed to Royal Oaks Dental Care on 10/25/2022 disputing additional charges and requesting a written response. As of this date no reply has been received.
