  I found ***************************** thru "Angies List". He was supposedly vetted by *****'s list and found to be a reputable handyman. He sent me an estimate for my attic project on 5/9/22 and came to my house on 5/31/22. The estimate served as invoice /contract. I gave him the requested $1200 in check form with balance of $800 to be paid upon completion of project. He was supposed to start the project on 6/21 since he was currently involved in other projects. He never came! I tried contacting him with an occasional response that he fell ill, had family troubles, etc. I contacted *****'s Customer solutions department and filed a complaint. It took them 3 weeks to get a response from Mr. ********************** who agreed to refund my monies but never did. I continued with the customer solutions department who was unable to obtain a satisfactory resolution other than removing him from their provider list. My last contact with him was on Oct. 1st where he told me yet again that he has intentions of returning my $1200 when he can. I have tried to be understanding and patient but I've had enough and now wish to file a formal complaint and hope that you can assist me in this matter.

  I hired Mike S***** on May 15, 2022 to tear down my old shed & rebuild a new shed on a platform. He advised me he was in the process of getting a divorce from his wife in Fl. & wanted me to pay him in cash $5 thousand for the supplies. The supplies were never delivered & the old shed was halfway torn down & is still left in my yard. Excuses after excuses. Now he won't respond to me, he is said to be back in Fl. Last I heard from him was June 1st 2022 when he told me he was going to unload his truck he was back in Ohio from Florida & he would be over to my house. Now I am learning he is back in Florida ~
