July of this year my parents decided to purchase solar panels for their home. They were aware they would need a new roof before the panels could be installed. They signed a contract with ****************** to handle the job. ****************** contracted the job out to Titan Roofing Company. During the roof installation a portion of the roof was left exposed during a rain storm. This caused one room to flood heavily. My parents were at a doctors appointment at the time and came home to the damage. The crew from Titan Roofing were apologetic and did come in and assist in moving some furniture out of the room. However, there was a large deal of water damage that occurred. The carpet, carpet pad, ceiling tiles, insulation, drywall, and some of the furniture was damaged. After the flooding occurred I reached out to ********************* who was my parents contact at Dream Home Roofing. I was led to believe that Dream Home was going to according to them "make it right". We were told that the room needed to be properly dried and that **** would reach out to some companies. We ended up using ****************** Services for the mitigation services. During conversations with ****** was made very clear that nothing was to proceed without payment being secured through ****. We were led to believe that the payment had been secured and that's why the mitigation moved forward. However, in October GCS reached out to me regarding an unpaid balance for the mitigation services they performed on the property. After a great deal of silence and back and forth from both Dream Home and Titan Roofing I was told by **** that Dream Home had taken the mitigation cost out of their overall payment for the job. Dream Home is stating they did not do that. No one has provided any documentation that this has occurred on either side. ****************** is now going after my parents for the bill. This is not their responsibility. Titan and Dream Home are both pointing fingers at each other. No resolution.
