  Consumer indicated she has a broken hand and could not write a complaint. This complaint was taken over the phone. Complaint: My generator was put in at the end of June with 2-year complete parts and labor warranty. The generator is not running, and they told me I was on my own, 6500 dollars later. I have no place to put the 2 children that I live with in this 104-degree heat with no lights, AC, or refrigeration. The owner refuses to work with me on this. This is an emergency situation and there's nowhere I can go to solve this. I am stranded because of this company. Desired settlement: I want a refund for my generator since they will not fix my generator under warranty. There are plenty of other companies that I can get a generator from. They have my money and I have a unit that doesn't work. I cannot in good heart trust them to fix it correctly because they didn't fix it to begin with.

  Business Response /* (1000, 10, 2022/08/04) */ She can take the motor home to any authorized cummins service entity. It is new and warranty will be honored. The factory branch is on orange blossom trail in orlando. She has no children. She has two cute dogs. We have listened to all of the injury stories untill we are worn out. Three people work at our little family shop. This person called demanding immediate service again. I explained that **** and ***** were out suffering with covid and there was no availability of anything. The two people who were out stepped up substantially for this person and did personal favors for her. When i explained how sick they were i expected to hear oh no, can i help them? Are they okay? One almost died by the way. Nope all i heard is there is no availability? I cant have my generator? We worked late to get it going on the day we put it in. Everyone was scorching hot and worn out. We offered to plug her coach into our shop, stay overnight at no cost and use the facilities. She started screaming like a demon. I have surgery scheduled for tommorrow morning. That was and is a lie. I feel sorry for this person as she is quite deluded. All she has to do is go to any cummins facility. She cant come here no' mo'. By the way, i prefer the bbb has a bad opinion of us. We are a little shop, we dont advertise and dont want anyone coming around. This is a time in our nation when there is a huge wanting for hard working tradesmen. We will no longer spend our prized time and efforts like this.
