April 2023 my wife purchased a 5-Quart Dutch Oven from HSN. In September, the coating on the Dutch Oven started peeling in multiple areas. My wife called HSN, and she was told to reach out to Synergy House Wares. After reaching out to them, we received an email saying that they were out of the product. but would send us a replacement when they receive the item in 4-6 weeks. It has now been 12 weeks and no replacement. I have reached out to them multiple times via email, but no response. The worst customer service I have ever received.Business response

The customer order was shipped via ***** tracking #************ . The package was also delivered on 12/27/2023. As a one-time courtesy in good faith a refund was also provided in the amount of $74.36 as well.Initial Complaint

I reached out to synergy housewares on March 23, 2023 regarding a dysfunctional ice machine maker( improvement) which was purchased on June 21,22 from HSN which had a 1 year manufacturer warranty through synergy housewares. I followed all the directions that was given to me by a customer service representative at ********************** for a replacement/refund claim which included a detailed description of the issue and uploaded pictures of the ice machine. On March 27th 2023, I received an email from synergy housewares stating they received my requested information for my claim re: ice machine. The email stated the following:This item is currently out of stock and will have to be ordered directly from the manufacturer. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, our shipping/receiving has been delayed. Please allow at least 4-6 business weeks to receive this replacement. You will receive an email including tracking information once the item is scheduled to ship. I followed up on May 1st 2023 via phone and email regarding the my claim for a replacement of my ice machine. The customer service representative at ********************** and email received on May 1st from synergy housewares gave me the same information from March 27th 2023 which was the machine is still out of stock, when asked what's the next course of action; I was told to just wait and no new estimated time frame for replacement was given. I connected HSN shortly after my last correspondence from synergy housewares, however I was redirected back to synergy housewares. HSN is still selling this ice machine maker despite its issues. No initiated follow up correspondences from synergy housewares to let me know any progress and/ or time frame for which I might receive my replacement and/ or refund regarding ice machine maker. As of June 30th 2023, I haven't received any correspondence from synergy housewares regarding my claim. My next course of action if not resolved through BBB will be The Attorney General.Business response

In response to complaint #********. The customer was notified and agreed to receiving a refund in the amount of $99.00. Customer also called today to and was advised check was mailed on 07/26/2023. The claim is now closed. Please let me know if you have any questions.Customer response

Hi I tried to call with no answer so hopefully this will get through. I purchased a ************************* 9 qt digital air fryer Model # swpafd90 February 5,2022. Loved it until it just quit about 8 months later. Checked all possible problems ie. cord, plug in , if I put the basket in wrong everything just quit working. I had to go out and buy a new air fryer. *****.Bought from TSC it was past their 30 day return. Purchase price was $119.99 plus tax total $134.39 I hope you will help with this problem soon. To confirm customer never contacted the warranty department according to the call log nor is the customer information in the system Called and left a message to further assist and also email customer to obtain warranty requirements needed. Purchased a ************************* Air ***** Oven **** watt from HSN approx 2 years ago. Last week it caught on fire in my home. It was an interior electrical fire within the unit. The manufacturer will not stand behind the product and will not replace it! Model # SWPAFOR23Business response

Spoke with the customer who claim after warming chicken he experience smoke and a small light inside the vents of the oven. Customer purchased the oven in 2019 which is out of warranty, however for QA purposes we would like to inspect the oven. Request of images of the inside is pending from the customer as requested and a return label issued. As a one time courtesy we will provide a 50% refund for the out of warranty item as discussed and currently waiting on the customer's email reply that was sent.Customer response

As shown attached, the email correspondence was sent and confirmed on 05/27/2022 after speaking with a person name **** who advise is handling the case for ***************************. As of today i have not received the requested images as asked. The caller is aware that a return label will be issued to further inspect the oven according to the caller's claim.

I am rejecting this response because: I have not recieved any label for return of the oven. I have not recieved any email from this company asking for my address. This company needs to contact me . At this point i think they are playing games. I want a replacement oven its that simple.
