This company reported me to the credit bureau stating I owe them $11,000 dollars. I was involved in a car accident thats was not my fault. I took it to court and the court threw the cases out.

      Business response

      06/14/2024

This response is submitted by Rental Claims Services (RCS) on behalf of Enterprise Leasing Company of ******** LLC ************************************************** (Complainant) rented an Enterprise vehicle and was involved in a rear end auto accident on May 14, 2019.  At the time of rental Complainant did not purchase the optional liability protection, and it was subsequently learned she did not have personal automobile insurance to respond to the claim.  As a result,Enterprise, as owner of the vehicle, was responsible by Florida law to provide liability protection for any damages caused by Complainant.

RCS completed a thorough investigation into the loss that included reviewing photos of both vehicles, obtaining statements from both drivers, and reviewing the police report.  Our determination was Complainant was at fault for the accident.  As a result of Complainants negligence Enterprise paid $10,940.07 to resolve the property damage and bodily injury claims presented by the driver and passenger of the other vehicle involved in the loss.

Pursuant to Complainants rental contract, Complainant is responsible for reimbursing Enterprise for the monies paid out.  We attempted to collect this from ****************** and after our efforts had failed, the debt was sent to a collection agency. We are willing to set up a payment plan to assist Complainant in repaying the amount owed.

      Sincerely,

      *******************

There was a collision with another car which barely touch the other person. After 4yrs of that incident am getting a notice now in 2020 that I owe $10,000. I will definitely like to dispute that claim cause I vividly remember nothing happened to that enterprise rental car she was driving. I have paid my dues for driving under the influence. This is a ******** don't want to be a party to a lie. File: ********. Date of loss: 07/09/2017.

      Dear ******:

This complaint stems from a motor vehicle accident that occurred on 7/9/2017. ************************* struck the rear of an Enterprise vehicle. We determined she was the sole and proximate cause of this loss.Dympna ******* personal automobile policy denied coverage on her behalf. The driver and passenger of the Enterprise vehicle sustained bodily injuries and presented an Uninsured Motorist claim. Settlement was reached with the driver and passenger for Uninsured Motorist claims in the amount of $10,000 ($8,000 for the passenger and $2,000 for the driver).
Letters were sent to ************************* for reimbursement on the following dates: 10/20/2022, 11/03/2020, and 11/17/2020. No responses were received, and legal counsel was retained to recover the settlement amounts stemming from the Uninsured Motorist claims presented. A complaint was filed on 03/03/2021 and a judgment in the amount of $10,086 ($10,000 for the judgement and $86 for costs) was entered in the court on 06/04/2021. I am rejecting this response because:
I didn't remember any of that incident & if that was the case a police report would have filed cause I don't even know about an bodily damage unless someone use my identity.  It was not me & I don't recall any accident happening with any body damage.

On July 19, 2020 I was involved in a multiple car accident where I was hit by a a customer of a rental car. That customer was covered by ELCO and I have been waiting patiently for the investigation to clear before being contacted for my car to be covered. Unfortunately the investigation came to end and **** never contacted me and I was told that everybody else in the accident has been covered. I was the first person to get hit. The claim number is ******** and the only contact I have from ******* **********.

      Business response

This response is submitted by Rental Claims Services (RCS)on behalf of Enterprise Leasing Company of *******, LLC (Enterprise).
This complaint arises out of an alleged auto accident involving a rental vehicle from Enterprise. The accident occurred on 7/19/2020 in Miami Dade County, **.   The complainant has filed a claim for the property damage sustained to their vehicle.
The complainant was involved in a multi car loss which also involved the Enterprise rental vehicle. There was an allegation made initially by the complainant that he felt multiple impacts and liability was in question.
As a result of the allegation, we conducted an extensive investigation to determine who was ultimately responsible for this loss. At the conclusion of our investigation, we determined that the Enterprise driver was liable for the loss.  Due to the multiple parties and vehicles involved, we inaccurately thought the complainant had filed a claim with his insurance carrier for his property damage claim.  We apologize for this misunderstanding and any delay this may have caused the complainant.
We have since reached out to the complainant and are working to conclude his claim.
We apologize for any inconvenience to the complainant and hope this will now resolve his BBB complaint.

I was hit by enterprise vehicle 9/4/2021. I've been emailing and calling with bo response whatsoever. I had to purchase a rental car on my own because it so difficult to file a claim. I don't have money to keep spending out of pocket. The enterprise driver is listed at fault and no one has attempted to call baxk or respond to multiple email. My attorney will be getting involved.
