      My 2023 ***** was shipped from ********* ** to ************* *******. The agreed-upon price was $895.00. I have a small SUV and I was told I could fill the back storage area with clothes,, housewares, luggage, etc. as long it was below the top of the front seat. That is how I packed the car. When the driver arrived at the end of Semptember he said he wouldn't transport the car because they were articles in the storage area. My wife and I were flying to ******* in 2 days and of course, needed and paid for our car to be there. The driver refused to touch the car as he said it was against the law to take it packed. He called Door to Door and put the agent on the phone. The agent said they would take the car as it was for another $150 more and it suddenly became legal. I was stuck and agreed to pay.Now to the main issue. Upon my arrival in *******, my car was not parked by my house but in a guest parking spot. We used the spare key I had in my pocket to drive my car to our house. The key fob the driver had was nowhere in sight. I did have text photos showing my car parked in 2 different spots, not in my driveway. The key fob for my car was not with my car. A new programmed fob with a new key is over $500. Door to Door has given me the runaround for months. They said they sent my complaint to their insurance **** and I would be reimbursed the $ 500.I finally thought of contacting you. I am hoping you can get me the money ( $ 500) for the *** and get back the $ 150 unwarranted additional charge. /

      We were told the key was taken by his daughter and we took a picture of the car and the key in the spot we were told to leave it, as we tell all customers you are allowed 150 lbs in car any more then that the driver may but not always charge you. There was much more then 150 in car. We are here to resolve issue.

      We booked a contract with this company for it to be scheduled by Tuesday morning. I had mad arrangements from some to travel to help me move. The vehicle did not arrive on Tuesday morning so they told us Tuesday night the vehicle didnt arrive that day so they said Wednesday mornig then they that said Thursday morning didnt get here till Friday at 12:30am. They also text us cursing at us , making sucidial jokes. We offered to pay 100 less to the contract driver he tried to break the car door. So we had to call the cops. This company has many reviews for doing the the same thing. We asking to made whorl for missed flights and uber charges. We paid the driver the amount and not looking to seek that back plus request for this business to be shut down and make us whole. The police report is still pending

      So this review is very upsetting by this return customer, first we had ********************** set to load before X-mas and deliver 3 days later, driver was 3 hours away and they cancelled transport do to their plans getting changed to ** which is understandable. At this point we were  left to pick-up between X-mas and New Year which at the time not many drivers are on the road, So doing are best to pick-up vehicle on short notice of date change our driver did load late at night do to the fact they were flying the next day and had no one to leave the car with, we always load during daytime to do a proper inspection of car before loading but they needed car gone so ************ happen, car was delivered 4 days later from ** to ** during winter and holiday weather. At no time was our driver rude or unprofessional it was quite the opposite but we understand they needed there car asap and that's all we were trying to provide, we have been transporting for 14yrs some of the largest dealers, auctions sports stars and private customers and understand the value of impeccable customer service. The car was delivered damage free with no issue, on top of that in an effort to make ********************* happy we gave him a 40% discount or ****** off the transport. We left on good terms or so we thought. We are sorry for any stress we might have cause but we did our best under the date change that occured and being bad time of year to ship. It also is unfortunate that this was the 3rd time we moved ***'s car and he never felt the desire to leave a positive review when shipping went perfect. We thanks him for the feedback and wish him the best moving forward.

      My vehicle was transported from ***** to ********** on 4/20/22. Upon arrival, I noticed my vehicle was damaged and the back windshield window had been replaced. I was not even notified this had occurred. I contacted the driver multiple times trying to get a resolution. I was told the driver believed he was shot at with a BB gun. I was advised to get an estimate for the repairs, the quote estimated $1900 in damages. I was then told by the driver that they will repair the vehicle through their private body shop. Here we are 6 months later with no resolution! I need my vehicle repaired!

      08/27/22 Using Door to **************** leaving from *******************************************************. Going to ********************************************************* I called day before to get price quote and make reservation. Which I was quoted $30. When it came time to pay I was told it was $35. I told the driver that I was quoted $30. The company called and said the man gave me the wrong price. The lady said its because of the address that the price is different. I went to the *** once already and I shouldn't be held accountable for their mistakes. They were demanding the extra $10. I told them when I get to the house he would definitely get it. It's just not fair. I'm not even sure of the Company's name. When I called it said ******************** *************. When I got the confirmation callback it say ******* Express ************.I would like to know what can be done about this.

      We are door to door transport we move automobiles not people, you use door to ***************** this has happened before please update your review to the correct business.       My 2016 Dodge Ram 1500 was contracted to be shipped from Bradenton Fl to Truckee Ca on 1/13/22 for a price of $1,584. Door to Door sent a driver named Adam S. on 1/17/22 who took possession of my truck. It arrived in Truckee CA on 1/14/22. At the time I was not in California to take delivery but the vehicle was parked in my driveway until I was able to return from Bradenton, FL. Upon entering my vehicle I found my truck had the seats, mirrors, adjusted, and all trip odometers had been reset. Furthermore, my truck was shipped with a full tank of gas, and 1/2 a tank of DEF. Upon starting the vehicle my gas tank was half full and the DEF tank was on empty. I immediately recognized my vehicle had been driven a significant distance while in their possession. I took a picture of the odometer prior to shipping the truck, it read 96,118, when I regained possession of my vehicle the odometer read 98,352. Over 2,000 miles were driven in my truck while in their possession! I contracted my vehicle to be shipped, not driven without my consent. Since that time I have reached out numerous times to the following, Adam (driver) and the manager Roy C. to find out how this happened and seeking reimbursement for the mileage added to my vehicle. They have both ignored my numerous attempts to rectify this situation.

      This truck was shipped on a 9 car carrier, we would never drive any vehicle for shipment as it would cost us money as a company to do so. Why would we ever driver a customers truck from ** to Ca or anywhere for that matter and pay for gas and other charges when we have our car carriers that we own to ship vehicles. We always want to make the customers happy in this case what the customer is claiming 100% simply did not happen. Again it would make no fiscal sense to drive a truck across country rather then ship on out trucks.

      I am rejecting this response because: As noted, the odometer reading before and after shipping is pretty conclusive. There are a number of reasons a vehicle can be driven partially when delivering. Such as having committed to too many vehicles being shipped. I've never made a BBB complaint in my life and would understand if my vehicle had been driven a handful of mile to make a delivery. This isn't simply someone drove my truck a few miles. It was driven over ***** miles! 

      Would advise against using their service as noted. They broke their contract and abused any trust while driving my vehicle illegally. Any attempt at resolution or taking responsibility has been met with contempt. Not sure how they can legally operate with these practices.

      Vehicle was dropped off on 9/29/2020. Upon arrival, it was noticed that 90% of my vehicle was scratched during transport. I filed an issuance claim, claim for damages was approved by insurance company. I have attempted to collect remaining payment owed to me by the driver. Driver has stopped responding to me and representative from Door to Door transport now ignores me and will no longer respond to text messages. I have been told several times that Door to Door transport is working on getting this issue resolved. I have been waiting 5 months to receive payment, with no response from involved parties.

      This is from 2020 over 4 years ago, we have no record of this issue. If there was any damage why was it nor reported years ago, please provide order # so we can attempt to resolve. thanks
