We have been taking our dog to this Pet Paradise location for 8 months for both boarding and daycare. We have never been told of any behavioral issues or concerns with our pet and were under the impression that he was participating in the group play activities that we paid $40 for each week. We dropped him off for boarding this weekend and when we mentioned how much he loves playing with the other dogs, we were told that they have not allowed him to play with other dogs for several months and was being caged during daycare. When we asked for an explanation, the manager refused to even come to the lobby to speak with us or provide us contact information to speak to her later. We were told that our dog, who has no documented behavioral issues on file, is no longer welcome there.We dont know how long they have been locking our dog in a cage while we were paying for group playtime and would like to recover the costs for services that were not being provided. We would also like to see the documentation showing what behavior was recorded to segregate him so we can ensure that behavior can be corrected.
