Healthy Wage is an excellent company giving that extra motivation to lose weight in a healthy way, and you win money when you reach your goal! I joined the challenge and was able to lose 80 pounds and won! The customer service is A+ always available, helpful, timely, and kind. HealthyWage also gave me the opportunity to connect through social media with a community other people also on the ** challenge. I found this to be fun, and great way to inspire and support each other. Everyone was so friendly and nice! And a ** coach was always readily available to answer any questions you had. This is an amazing website! I lost 50 pounds over 8 months. Each month i would deposit an amount of money of your choosing, i choose $50 a month. At the end of the weight loss period, I won $850! Great motivation to lose weight and they offer a ton of support.

I did two different HealthyWage challenges back to back and won over $2500 by losing over 82 lbs. This is definitely legit. I paid in my money monthly and wagered that I would lose a certain amount each time. Since I did meet my goals, I got that money back plus a lot more as a reward! This has been one of the only things that has been able to keep me motivated long term. I continued to lose and reach my goals over the past year and I got a great payout in the end. *Before I started my review, I read through the 1-start reviews, and am actually quite annoyed by them. They have very thorough rules that each participant is required to review and accept before starting! There is nothing unethical about their business practices. One's failure or inability to comprehend the rules isn't grounds for a refund, especially when the rules are pretty basic!*Let me start by saying that I had allowed myself to incredibly overweight. I was unhealthy, miserable and hiding from my life. I'd done Healthy Wage for years but I just wasn't ready to put the effort in and only had mild success. Last December, I finally decided that enough was enough and that I was sick of sitting on the sidelines of my own life. I placed a bet on myself that would allow me to win over $2500 if I was successful. I'm now healthier than I've ever been, and I will never, ever go back.I have to give a shout out to the staff! As I said, I've done Healthy Wage off and on for 12 or 13 years, and I've occasionally needed customer service (I ask a lot of questions LOL). Each time, I received prompt, friendly responses. When I finally succeeded, I was given heartfelt congrats from the customer service team. I felt like they genuinely wanted me to succeed.I received my check quickly and with zero issues. Since virtual security is something we're all concerned about in this day and age, I also want to emphasize that in over a decade, I never had a single issue with my payments not being securely processed, so please don't let something like that deter you from trying them out.To sum it up, could I have lost the weight without Healthy Wage? Of course. Did Healthy Wage give me that extra motivation that kept me from quitting when things were challenging? I answer with a resounding "YES!". I started HealthyWage with the best intentions to lose weight and get healthier. About 5 weeks after starting the program, I was exercising and quickly started having issues, I had to go to the ER and it was determined I have a heart issue. I was advised not to do anything to raise my heart rate. This directly effected the potential to meet my goal, as exercise was a significant part of my plan for weight loss. I again had issues earlier this month and had to call 911 and was again taken to the ER with heart issues. They got me stabilized, and I was given an urgent referral to a Cardiologist by my doctor. Due to these issues, I am unable to work as well. Oh, also while I was in the hospital, my debit card was compromised, so I had to cancel it. I explained this all to HealthyWage and they said with documentation, including a medical record, along with a video for weight verification, they could pause my weight loss progress, and later I will be able to buy more time, but that I still had to make the payments now. At this point, I don't know what my prognosis is, but my condition is serious. I do not see how a company that promotes itself on health can not make exceptions for a situation like mine. Not only do I have the serious heart problem, I do not have the financial means to continue the payments. The undo stress is also detrimental to my health. This is cruel and inhumane, regardless of what their contract says. Buyer beware, and get out your crystal ball so you know if you should sign the contract, because once you do you're stuck with it. And their emails sign off with "Healthy Wishes". A company without empathy and compassion is lacking of moral character and substance, and only care about the bottom line and sales quotas.

HealthyWage is committed to our participants achieving their goals in a healthy way. While our role is to facilitate your weight loss bet and help you stay committed to your goal set by you, we do have medical exemptions permitting pauses to ******, and are transparent about our cancellation policy. This individual started their challenge on June 26, 2023 and challenged themselves to lose 60 pounds in 9 months. We first contacted this participant on September 28, 2023 as their payment (amount decided by them) last successfully ran on August 26, 2023 and they were due for their next installment. They replied October 13, 2023 first alerting us to her health issues, that their card had been compromised, and requesting to cancel their challenge and be refunded for their past 3 installments. We immediately replied to the participant asking for medical documentation to review for a potential medical pause but have not received any documentation from the participant. We are still willing to work with them exceeding the 14-day policy disclosed in our FAQs.
