Company installed HVAC in June 2023. 1. The day after installation, the condensation line started to leak. When I contacted ***** from this company and sent the photo, he replied "I will send the guys tomorrow". No one ever came out. No one followed up with me. 2. 4 weeks after installation, the filter was getting 60% wet because of close gap to the coil. I contacted ***** again. The repose was "dont worry about it - not a big deal".3. November 2023 - noisy freon lines. Contacted *****. He did not answer first 2 messages. Then he told me that " I need to be patient", and that this 1st time I am contacting him.This is not the way to treat clients which have HVAC under warranty. This is not t he way to run business. I have all of the communication proof.Customer response

I called Octagon Air Conditioning (license #*********** from their ad because my A/C was not working. I explained that the unit is still under warranty. The repairman said that the broken capacitor is not a part that is covered by a Carrier warranty. I would have to pay for it. When I called Carrier, they said that the part is indeed under their warranty. ******* said that Octagon should refund me the cost I paid for the capacitor and bill them for it and they will pay for it. I have made numerous calls to Octagon but no one follows up with me. When asked for an invoice at the time of service, I was told that the tech had no stationery and would email me an invoice. This did not happen. When I wanted to pay by credit card, he said their system was down. When I went to write a check, he said "write it to Cool ***** not Octagon which is the company I called to come. Because of all these non-businesslike events, I ask that the BBB help to get my capacitor cost refunded.Initial Complaint

The owner of this company ,************************* of Octagon Air Conditioning of ************* ** will not come out to repair my A/C .My Air conditioner is only 4 months old and it has broken down 3 times already ! It broke down again the day after Thanksgiving and he told me he doesnt work on weekendsthat was 7 days without any air conditioner . Last time I text him there was no response he just ghosted me One time there was a leak and it was repaired with duct tape ??I was supposed to receive a first quality Rheem A/C and they Installed a Weather King model instead? I was so frustrated at the other product breaking down and it was then that I found out Octagon took advantage of me because I paid $4300.00 is what I was charged and Rheem and Com. Said I should have only been charged for the product and installation $3600.00 !This *********************** not only does shoddy work !! His charged way overpriced because I am a Senior citizen and took advance of me.Additionally my Thermostat was never replaced with a new one and he kept tell me that he would get around sometime to do it . That NEVER happened..Help me, it is 85* in my home and I can hardly stand the intense continual heat Waiting to hear from you, *******************
