            I have been a client of ****** Financial in ******** ***** for 10+ years. I was informed in July of 2023 that they were joining Wyndham Accounting & Advisory, LLC. On March 11, 2024, prior to me filing my 2023 taxes, I was informed that Wyndham was ceasing operations in ***** and was given an email address to request my depreciation schedules and other documentation they specified they were obligated to provide. I sent several emails to the supplied address and never got a reply and/or access to the portal and ended up filing for an extension to give me time to get the documentation.I have since called both their ******* and Maine numbers and have been told the numbers aren't in operation.

            They bought out my regular accounting company about six months ago. They never informed us of the change ahead of time, that my accountant had left, and that I was transferred to another accountant at the company. I only learned she had left when I emailed her and had the email bounce back to me and I called the front desk to ask about it. Then they shut down the office in the middle of tax season with no warning. I only received an email from my accountant after the fact asking me to switch to their personal firm. I still haven't heard from Wyndham directly about any of this. I assume they never filed my taxes, which they sat on for three weeks without doing anything, then left me in the lurch with a month to go. They still have my documents, passwords, and everything.
