On Tuesday, November 21, 2023, the company repossessed a vehicle at my property. I have attempted to contact the company on Wednesday, November 22, Friday, November 24, and Monday November 27, 2023 to retrieve my personal belongings, including my tag and license plate. Each time I called, the phone was answered and hung up. This occurred multiple times on each day that I attempted to reach the company. After four calls on Monday, November 27, someone finally answered and stated I cannot retrieve my belongings until Wednesday, November 29 after 12 pm. I am afraid that valuable items in the vehicle may disappear, including the plate and tags, which can be used illegally. I am requesting assistance in getting the company to respond appropriately.Customer response

I went to the site at *************************************** to retrieve my belongings on November 29, ***** at approximately 315 pm. I knocked repeatedly and received no response. I then began calling the number to the business several times, and could not receive an answer. I knocked harder at the door, and a woman answered. She stated she was "part owner with her husband ***." She told me she "blocked" my telephone number from calling the business because "You're the one who called the Better Business Bureau." She then added, "It doesn't matter if you called them. We don't subscribe to them anyway." She then told me that my car "was not here." She stated they (her company) had removed my belongings from the vehicle. When I reviewed the items she gave me, I told her that this was not all of my possessions in the vehicle, and I demanded to see the car to get my belongings. She refused to provide any additional information, other than "The car is in *************** where we picked it up." I told her that I wanted to remove my possessions from the vehicle myself, as several items were missing. She continued to refuse to provide any additional assistance. At this time, I called ************** to assist me. A female and male officer arrived, and the female officer went into the office to speak with the owner. Fifteen minutes later, the female officer returned with all of the information regarding the car's location in ***************, where I can retrieve the remainder of my belongings.
