Back in 2019 Brady Roofing replaced my main roof and flat roof. I had issues with them then with the flat roof leaking which they did eventually fix. Due to all the issues we had at the time ***** (employee) took off $1000 from the actually cost (actually cost was $8800 reducing it to $7800). Final Release of Lien attached for the $7800. Within the last month the flat roof is leaking again. On 7/10/2023, ******* (my roommate) left a message advising them it was leaking and to call her. On 7/12 ******* again left a message to call her and did not receive a call back and sent an email. On 7/17 ******* called again and left a message to call back and also tried to call the *************** no call back. On 7/31, I called one last time and got ******** on the phone and said she was new to the company. I told her about the leak and she was going to try to have someone come out the next day and she would call back with a time. When she called back, she said they couldn't find contract and final lien and asked me to send the information. I asked to speak with ***** and she advised ***** no longer worked for company. She said to send documents and someone would call back. Sent her the final lien. *********************** emailed me advising that I owed $1000 and resulted in the warranty for work being withheld. I told her it was a misunderstanding and to call me so we could discuss it and she never did. On 8/4 I sent a followup email about her not calling me. To this date, I still have not heard back from anyone from the company.Business response

Regarding the complaint filed by *************************, case reference number 20442343:
At Brady Roofing, we take pride in our commitment to clear communication and adherence to the terms of our agreements. We'd like to clarify the sequence of events surrounding *************************' situation.
In 2019, Brady Roofing entered into an agreement with ************** to complete a roofing project. The contract, which both parties signed, stipulated an agreed price of $8,800.
Fast forward to July 2023, we were contacted by ************** regarding a leak in her flat roof. During our internal review, we noticed a discrepancy in her account, specifically the non-availability of her roof warranty. As ************** engaged with ********, a recent addition to our team, this outstanding balance of $1,000 was brought to her attention. ******** explained that the withholding of the warranty was directly tied to this pending payment.
We genuinely empathize with **************' concerns, but it is imperative to emphasize that our communications have consistently highlighted the necessity of complete payment to validate the warranty. To this effect, an email was dispatched to ************** on 07/31/2023, underscoring the importance of settling the said balance if she wishes for the warranty to be reinstated.
We remain steadfast in our commitment to the terms outlined in our contracts and advocate for transparency and fairness in every business interaction.
