This matter involves a *********** closing transaction which occurred in December of 2021. The firm charged me $82. 13 for a water **** they said wasn't paid. I provided proof of payment which showed the account was paid in full. I have called this business more than 10 times and have not received a return phone call. This firm overcharged me and refuses to return the payment of $82.13.Business response

I spoke with an email ************** at ************************************* and explained the Mr. ***** was confused and the $82.13 was an amount due to the City for USED water/sewer and it was paid on the date of closing.
The amount actually due to Mr. ***** was $150.00 being held in Escrow for proof that he closed his water/sewer account upon the sale of his property. He is responsible to provide that to us in order to his Escrow to be released back. When Mr. ***** inquired several times about the $82.13 we explained this was not a refund issue it's money due to the City.
This is where his confusion caused this erroneous complaint. In addition when Mr. ***** finally understood the explanation he said then the City owes me the money and advise this is something you have to address with the city directly.
I spoke with him and explained his responsibility and what he needed to do.
On Wednesday April 20, 2022 he provided the proof of his account being closed and his Escrow was refunded and mailed.
Please confirm this addresses the issue and that this complaint will be removed.
