On 6/2/2022 my wife and I hired this company to fix a pluming leak at my rental house. They did the job, provided an invoice and we paid them $321.72 via the Venmo cash app. During the repair they discovered that my water heater was leaking and required replacement and we asked them to do that job as well. On 6/8/2022 they requested $1,125 up front for parts. My wife paid them since they did the first job and it went well. However, they never showed up to do the work, first claiming a death in the family, then COVID, then telling us multiple times they were on their way, would be there to do the work the next day or in a couple of days. Over the course of more than a month until today (7/17/22) my wife has texted back and forth about when they were actually going to perform the work. The last scheduled day they said they would be there was 7/16/2022. Again they never showed up. We've texted them requesting a refund. We've requested a refund via Venmo. My wife tried calling but they are not answering the phone. Then we read all of the other complaints about them on the BBB and on Google. Apparently this is something they do regularly.

I paid Christopher Carroll for supplies and work on my interior stairs on January 7th, February 5th, February 8th, and February 10th. The total on my payments was $276. Mr Carroll has never delivered the supplies, kept my house key, and has never done any of the work. He has also refused to comply with requests for my key and my refund. He will not answer when I try to contact him. I had to have my locks replaced because he won't return the key. I would like my money returned to me.

We first had C & B Plumbing come out on 10/28/21 to unclog our drain. That cost was $175.00 , we paid them $475.00 as the extra $300.00 was to get us a new toilet and some parts to fix our dishwasher and washing machine. Check number was 2862 and they cashed it the same day. Everytime they said they were coming, they didn't show up and didn't call. In the meantime we had to pay Peaden Plumbing to unclog the same exact drain and paid them $353.00. Chris at C & B was ill for awhile so we understood that. When he was cleared for work by his doctor he said he would come, two weeks after he was cleared for work , he told us he would come Thursday (two weeks ago between 2 & 3) again never showed up and never called. We would like our $300.00 back extra we paid for toilet and services never rendered. This has been going on since October and is now January.

I paid C&B Plumbing $2185 to repair a leak at ***************** Valparaiso FL on September 29th. The amount included them agreeing to come back and install the toilet after the flooring was repaired. I paid $275 to sombody else to repair the drywall and floor and reinstall the toilet. Within a month, the repair made by C&B came undone and I had to pay $300 to a leak detection company to confirm that the leak was coming from the same spot as where they made the repair. When I showed pictures of the repair in progress to another plumber, he mentioned that they should have soldered the underground joint rather than using Sharkbites. Even with using Sharkbites, C&B might have made few mistakes such as not removing the burrs or jamming too quickly thus damaging the O-ring or not using locking clips or silicone wrapping. C&B not only did a poor repair job that came undone in 30 days, before that, they refused to reimburse me for the toilet installation they didn't have to do and send me a itemized bill requested by my insurance company. They are not responding to calls or text messages.

What follows is a timeline of me paying the contractor in advance for material, several breaks in communication, and multiple commitments to come perform work, and not meeting a single committed date. 10/12/21 I spoke to the contractor and sent $700 via CashApp for a water heater and other material he stated would be needed to replace my water heater. From 10/13 through 10/19 I heard nothing until he wrote me about a death in the family. He said he would be back in town and come out the weekend of 10/23 to replace the water heater. He didn't show. After days of not answering calls or texts he wrote that he would come out Thursday 10/28. The morning of Thursday he confirmed he would be out to replace the water heater. He didn't show up. Again I called and texted several times and got no response. 10/30 His wife texts me apologizing, and that he had been in the hospital. 11/4 I finally spoke to him on the phone. He needed photos of my water heater and stand and I sent both while we were on the phone. He stated he needed an additional $110 so he could get a stand. I sent the money so he could order it that evening. 11/8 he texted stating he would come out and do the work that afternoon. He stated his wife was in the hospital all weekend which is why he wasn't answering texts. That evening he texted that the stand had not been delivered. I tried to contact him for the next couple days by call and text and got no response. Eventually his wife answered and was on her way with his dad to pick up him from the hospital. Another hospital story. 11/15 I finally got through to him on the phone and he said that he and his brother would come out Tuesday the 16th to replace the water heater. They didn't show or respond until Thursday. Just before 1pm I spoke with him and he was actually on his way to do the work. He never showed, and is no longer responding to anything including my refund request.

In August 2021 Chris at C&B Plumbing was paid for supplies for a plumbing job that was never completed. I contacted Chris and his partner, multiple times for the return of the unearned money of $240.00. After repeated requests, I still have not received a return of the money.
