We purchased a vehicle from Crestview car connection, my daughter's first car. At first it drove very nice but after a few days we noticed some issues under the hood. The car was rocking back and forth at stoplights. We brought it to the car dealer and he said to leave it there and he will fix it. A week later he called for us to get the car and we saw that he duct taped a lose pipe on the motor. My daughter took the car and the issue continued. It was getting worse. So much noise and shaking. We dropped the car at the Buick dealership and notified the dealer. He got very angry and disrespectful with us saying that he will not pay for anything unless HIS MECHANIC looks at it. So we gave it back to him and he brought it to a mechanic. Almost one weeks I was a little concerned about where the car is and if there was going to be work done on it so I wanted to know the number of the mechanic. He refused to give it to us. I remembered a name he said before and started to look on Google..found him. Called and basically got brushed off and laughed at. The car dealer then called my daughter to tell at her for calling the mechanic. 2 weeks later he said the car was fixed. We picked it up and nothing was done. Absolutely nothing. This business has ripped of many people and I hope more people will report this business so that nobody else has to go though what many of us hardworking people have gone through with him..

      Business response

      10/04/2022

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/08/31) */ OK, YOU WERE FINANCED BY CREDIT ACCEPTANCE AND HAD A 24/24,000 MILE WARRANTY FROM THE VERY BEGINNING, BUT WE DID ALL WE COULD TO HELP GET THINGS OFF TO A GOOD START WITH THE VEHICLE BEFORE YOU MADE ANY CLAIMS. AT THE TIME WE DID NOT HAVE A MECHANIC EMPLOYEED AND WE WERE LEFT TO THE MERCY OF HIRING OUT THE JOB AND THEM ADDRESSING IT AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. WE DO NOT PAY FRANCHISE DEALER PRICING FOR WORK WE CAN GET DONE AT A FRACTION OF THE COST. YOU WERE THE ONE THAT DELAYED THE FIX BECAUSE YOU WANTED TO ARGUE WITH US ABOUT HOW YOU WANTED IT HANDLED. WE MADE A SPECIFIC APPOINTMENT AT THIS MECHANIC WHICH YOU FAILED TO SO UP FOR, SO THAT DELAYED EVEN FURTHER. THIS IS THE FIRST NEWS THAT WE HAVE HEARD IN OVER 2 MONTHS SINCE THE PURCHASE. WHY DON'T YOU USE YOUR WARRANTY UNLESS YOUR DAUGTER HAS ALREADY EXCEEDED THE MILEAGE CAP SINCE MAY. Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2022/08/31) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) The car had to be brought to a mechanic close by because the car is unsafe and I didn't want her to get into an accident on the way home. That was the reason for the delay. I still have all the emails where you straight up told me that the only people who will look at the car is that one person who obviously made it worse. The point of the complaint are your methods and your yelling and degrading people, which you have definitely done with my daughter. There are so many complaints. I have them and more. I will try everything I can for you to never tell and scream or screw anybody over again. This car is not a $2000 car where I expect it to fall apart in a month. I understand you are trying to defend your business and all but there are way too many people who had issues with you and you just won't except it at all. It matters how you treat people, talk to people and the quality of what you are selling because all of us work hard for our money sir. Business Response /* (4000, 9, 2022/08/31) */ Quite frankly, if we were as horrible as you claim, we would have gone out of business a long time ago. You are absolutely dishonest about the treatment you received, not only did we do all we could to help the situation, we gave your daughter a loaner vehicle while the Buick Verano was being repaired. Again, you have a warranty for any other issues you might be experiencing after we fixed the original issue. It is truly sad your inability to take responsibility for this purchase, which is always "AS IS" even though we went out of the way to help, just shows the type of individual you are. Your goal is to try and ruin our reputation, but we have a awesome reputation in the area and one small pity party on Crestview Word of Mouth is not what I would consider "so many complaints" We sell 250 to 300 cars a year, 70 - 80 percent of our sells come from repeat customers and referrals from reviews, so you keep us your crusade any way you would like, but we don't "screw" people over and we sell the nicest, best quality used cars you'll find under $15K. It would be nice to know if you have taken advantage of the warranty, if you truly are experiencing more issues, because this is the first we have heard of it since your daughter picked up the Buick and returning the loaner. Basically, it seems you will never be satisfied. You were never present when we had interaction with your daughter, so you cannot really be sure of what was said or transpired, other than what was conveyed to you by her. Anyway, I won't be wasting any more time responding to this pitiful allegation. Consumer Response /* (4200, 11, 2022/09/01) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) This will definitely be my last response because I am in shock of your denial. My daughter is not a liar and the loaner you gave her was for 2 days and she was only allowed to put a few miles on it, which for her meant to make a choice between going to school or work because if she did both she would have went over the miles you told her. Your treatment towards us was great? Wow. The car was never fixed. Period. I have dated videos of everything wrong with the car. It doesn't matter how many ok cars you sell, it's the people that are very unsatisfied with you and your attitude. If I was the only one to say that you are rude and dishonest it would be one thing but I am not. You definitely have a reputation alright. Not a good one. I been working on getting EVERYTHING fixed and so far I am out $2500. The warranty claims take FOREVER and we need the car to work. I understand as is but a car shouldn't start falling apart less than a month after purchase. Conversation with you won't go anywhere because you get rude and loud so I will just mark this as lesson learned and will continue to talk about your bad business to whoever listens.

On 5-28-2022 my husband(Richard ****) & I purchased a 2015 Chrysler 200c from Allen Key at Crestview Car Connection. He stressed to us how the car was in excellent condition, ran great with no issues what so ever, & that his men/mechanics did a full check up & service on it. So we drove the car off of the lot after putting a $3,000 down payment & owing the bank almost $19,000. On 6-1 we noticed the car was shifting hard out of 3rd gear but thought maybe it was due to the car sitting in his lot for an extended period of time. On 6-5 my husband had to leave for an out of time job in NY so he parked the car until he returned on 6-26. On 6-28 my husband went to get in the car to go to the store & the "service transmission" light was on & the car wouldn't go in drive or reverse. We had the car towed to USA Motors where we were told the transmission was no good, so we purchased a new transmission which was installed. On 8-06 we picked our car up from the transmission shop. On 8-09 the transmission light came back on a **** with the check engine light. The check engine light is reading that there is low oil pressure to the motor. So we took it back to our transmission shop & they say it's either an electrical or computer issues which could cost us several more thousand dollars. I made a post on our local Facebook page & there are at least 15 people who have commented saying this man sold them a piece of junk car & I feel like he needs to be held accountable. The 2 boys(16 & 17 years old) he has doing the mechanic work on his cars told our transmission shop that they look up how to fix the cars on YouTube. They are not even certified mechanics. Something has to be done about this business & we hope you can help before they rip off more people in our community that have worked hard for their money just to give to him for his trashy vehicles.
