I am sad to say but I have never been so disappointed by a companys treatment and impertinence towards someone with a disability. In January of 2023, my daughters 7 year old, well-maintained *** experienced an unexpected engine failure. Her car was towed to *** and she was left without a vehicle for the time being. For a short time, she relied on Ubers to get her to and from medical appointments and treatments, which she had nearly every day, if not multiple times a day. Weeks passed and nothing was heard from ***. Efforts to contact them were unsuccessful, they did not return our calls. We continuously informed them of the situation and how necessary a vehicle was for her due to her medical conditions, and that we were unable to afford multiple Ubers a day with no updates as to when she could expect the vehicle back. Despite the car already being in **** lot for weeks, they said they could provide a rental for no more than four days. They still had not yet started repairs on the car. They then began placing the burden on us to find our warranty and purchase documentation as they did not have it. Once these documents were provided, they still would not start working on the vehicle as they implied that the damage was not spontaneous and was the fault of the vehicle owner. After an inspection which proved the engine failure to be spontaneous, they continued to ignore us and refuse updates, not starting work on the vehicle. *** refused to address the situation or communicate with us. *** ended up keeping her vehicle for five months, most of this time, the car was left sitting in their parking lot. *** corporate has been contacted regarding the expenses and challenges we incurred due to this malfunction. They requested various forms of documentation regarding the matter, yet with all documentation provided, they have continued to assert that they will not be assisting us. My wife and I went to this dealership to look at a Telluride that we were considering in purchasing. It was the worst derision we made aside from our sales person who nice and polite but did not have any authority over the selling price of the vehicle. **** brought as a form that had all sort of extra fees and when we question them he then brought over his Sales Manager ***** to explain the fees and all he wanted to know was what will be your out the door price we would be willing to agree. Each time we asked him to explain the extra fees and it was going nowhere....true car salesman with no courtesy to the customer who by the way was willing to purchase a 2 year old used car when we walked in. I guess he got fed up and called on his GM to discuss with us. He also would not have any answers to the extra fees. We asked if there were anyway to negotiate on the selling price and he flatly said NO. Well that was a good way to earn our business. Needless to say we walked away and headed over to Jenkins ************ and met the nicest sales consultant ****** and his manager ****. They were very courteous and accommodating and did everything possible to reach a goal that was good for both of us. We are very pleased to have purchased our Telluride with ************ and NOT with Crystal River....Don't waste your time over there. They want to rob you blind. We apologize that we were unable to help you find a vehicle that would fit your budget needs during your recent visit. Your salesperson, ****, would not have been able to negotiate a price, as only our sales managers have that authority. ***** did go over the window sticker pricing during your visit, but did have our General Sales Manager ****** step in to provide additional clarification. ****** explained that he was unable to reach a deal based only on the internet price of the vehicle, which does not include our reconditioning fee, installation of IKON or autobond fee. We do ask all of our customers about what their out-the-door price would be to better assist in making the best possible purchase. Again, we do apologize that we were unable to earn your business, but are glad to hear our ***** location could meet your needs.Review from Ariel H

I would give it zero if I could. The entire experience was absolutely terrible. Purchased a used vehicle from them the same day we took it home it wouldn’t start after we stopped at the store. Bring into shop oh it’s fixed. Bs had to go back into the shop and was there for a month vehicle had a bad transmission and they refused to fix it. They sold a vehicle with a faulty transmission saying oh it’s driveable. It 100 percent is not unless you want to blow the motor or cause more problems. They played nothing but games and I finally had them cancel the contract and take the shit vehicle back. This day and age it took two weeks for that to be processed blaming the finance company on sending paper copies of the contract. That’s a joke. It was sent electronically and they had it days before they finally refunded my down payment and had me be done. I will never go to another Jenkins dealer. Shady and play games. I had the general manager involved and the sales general manager and useless. General manager could have cared less even the day I went to the dealer to get my refund no mention of sorry for the trouble or anything. Maybe 5 words out of them. I sincerely apologize for your negative experience. We pride ourselves on selling quality vehicles and providing excellent customer service. We did address concerns you had when the vehicle was brought back to our dealership about a month after the purchase. Upon learning that it was, in fact, the transmission that needed to be replaced, our general sales manager apologetically reached out to you do discuss the possible options. During this time, we offered you a temporary loaner vehicle, which was declined. It was agreed upon that we would refund your down payment and get you out of that vehicle. Our general manager spoke with you after our general sales manager, again apologizing for your experience. He assured you we would be getting your down payment returned to you, but that it would take some time, as there is a process that must be followed in these situations and that we had begun that process. There are numerous entities and legalities involved in the purchasing and unwinding of vehicle purchases, which is why we were unable to issue refunds instantaneously. Once we were able to refund your down payment, we reached out to you. Again, I am truly sorry for the negative experience you had.Review from Connie M

Called about a sportage offered online. This car is priced in line with everything in its range. First day I struggled to get a price work up. Wanted to drive out and pay cash. Following day I was told the car was “incorrectly priced” 6,000$ less. This made no sense, but now days later, car is still showing on their site and with others for same price. Apparently this is a thing that unscrupulous dealers do. They didn’t want to talk to me because I wanted to pay cash. Bait and switch scam dealer.Jenkins Kia Of Crystal River Response

Awful scammy dealership. After working with Timmy and the sales manager for a week to purchase a car and working and agreeing on price and payments and calling to set up delivery or pickup we were told they had just sold the car. How is that when we were literally talking to you and arranging this. Very bad business practice from Timmy, Michelle ******, who when I called and had to speak with her, told me she had no knowledge of this deal or issue at all, however her name was on the sales paper they sent us with price and numbers, to the managers JR ******** and Rich ***** to Bill in internet sales,the worst, scammy unscrupulous people in the business. They also tried in the last stage of negotiations to send us the sale price inflated by 3,000 dollars and said oh sorry we mad a mistake, you think, but even after fixing this and agreeing to our terms and price they suddenly sold it two minute before. So you were trying to sell to other people as we were trying to sign. I bought a used vehicle from this dealership 4 weeks ago. I was told all vehicles go through an extensive inspection before putting on the lot. I gave them $5,200 in cash as a down payment. I was told it had a 90-day warranty. In the first 24 hours the check engine light came on. I reported that to them. They told me it was the way I put the gas cap on. It happened again. I was told it was the gas cap again. The check engine light remained on and I reported it to them. They told me it was the O2 sensor. They changed it out with an aftermarket sensor. It happened again. They told me they needed to put an oem sensor on. I took it in for that. Before I left the lot I told him I heard a sound. The mechanic told me everything was just settling back in. I drove it 10 minutes home and it overheated with smoke coming out from under the hood. I called them and they told me to drive it in. 5 minutes into the drive the vehicle overheated and lost power. A mechanic drove out to me and put coolant in and told me to drive it to the dealership. When I pulled up all of the coolant spilled out on the pavement. They told me this time it was a thermostat and they replaced it. I picked the vehicle up the next day at 3:00 p.m. . Less than 48 hours later the check engine light is back on. I spoke with a finance person and he told me I was lucky they've done all this work for free even though I have a 90-day warranty. He said they would not be doing that again even though I have a 90 day warranty. I have not even made my first payment. This is excessive and I want it resolved or I want my money back. I no longer feel safe in this vehicle.Review from Ronald M

Aweful aweful aweful!!!! And what ever you do "dont buy ANY service Or maintenance contract" they will screw you over!!!!! Horrible customer Service!!!! They need to train their employees Much better!!! And JR in the crystal river Location could use some of this training for sure!!!!!
