I agreed to a Home Improvement Contract and Loan Agreement for a ****kw PV Solar System and 1 backup battery that was to cover the entirety of my home's electric consumption and export energy credits based on Freedom Solar ********** analysis of my electric utility bills from the previous year.Contracts signed 4.8.22 for a Loan Agreement and Home Improvement Contract. System fully installed and deemed active by Freedom Solar *** 7.29.22.Permission to Operate letter provided by utility company 8.26.22. I was provided false information by Freedom Solar *** to persuade me to enter contract. Detailed below. 1) Between 7.25.22 and 7.28.22 verbal information is provided by installer onsite that full use of the installed system would be limited to parts of the home and there would be no HVAC connected to the backup battery system. That is not what I agreed to nor is any indication of that noted in the contract terms. Contracts had been signed 4 months prior, county inspections had been completed and all equipment installed. While the installer is onsite company owner ************************* called and says that if I agree to pay an additional $12,000 within the hour, then he can make the entire home accessible to the entirety of the system. 6 months later after different issues arose, he offered to charge me $10,000 to make my system whole.2) My initial request for help regarding system production were by email in late Aug 2022. I was provided the over under graph below and told they they know it doesn't make sense but it will. Said they would physically check on system, never did. I was told actions to review my system data were not actually made until Jan 25th 2023 where I was advised an ethernet cable may be faulty. All data shows the system is exporting & creating far more energy than my home is consuming. Yet, there is still a utility bill.3) Freedom Solar *** team provided me false tax info without license as a sales tactic to encourage me to enter contract.
