I was in the market for a new car. More specifically I was looking to buy a JDM import. ***************************, the owner of this company took a $2500 deposit to reserve a vehicle he gave little to no information on besides the implacable vibe that the vehicle was of top notch condition. After finding out more info on the vehicle on my own, info being negative, I communicated with **************** my concerns about the concept of him taking such a large sum on deposit without giving me the readily available info he had on the status of the car.He refused to refund my money when I said I didn't want to go forward with the purchase of the vehicle. He scammed me.Business response

Hi ****,
You placed your non-refundable hold for purchase deposit on 09/17/2022 towards said vehicle as agreed. After 48 days, you reached out saying you no longer wanted the car because you "already purchased another car." It's clearly stated on our website and on our deposit receipt sent to you that deposits are non-refundable because we remove the car from the market for you and we take no calls or inquiries on the vehicle.
We got the car to our warehouse on 11/22/2022-11/23/2022 and we sent you pictures immediately to show you the condition of the vehicle on arrival, and as expected, it was in excellent condition like we told you it was. We then sent you 30+ photos of the exterior and interior after we had the vehicle professionally detailed. We also sent you a full exterior and operating temperature video walk-around and the car was in excellent condition cosmetically and mechanically. We sent you all of this even after you stopped replying to us for 30+ days.
In hopes to gain your future business and to maintain integrity in our business dealings, we offered you a good faith credit voucher for the amount of your deposit in full to be used towards a future vehicle purchase (which we don't offer to any of our customers and it's outside of our deposit policy) and you didn't reply to us like before. Even after not hearing from you for 40+ days, we still sent you this credit voucher in the amount of your deposit, and like before, not a single reply from you. We sent this credit voucher on 12/07/2022 to ******************* and also reminded you that we this to you via text message to 916-580-55xx
Coming on here and saying that we "scammed you" is far from the truth.
