    My wife's car was taken to Jim Browne Collision Center in *********** for repairs. During the process of inspection the mechanic and the shop owner never communicated with us before the start of initial inspection. They proceeded to take the front end of the care apart before we were given a chance to say we want the car to be taken apart or not. We were never contacted properly and that's against the law. We were told by the insurance claim adjuster that we can take the car to any collision shop we want to. When we contacted *** Browne and told them that we didn't want them to work on the car they told us that they would tow the car for us since the car was not drivable. When the car was brought to them initially it was drivable. When we called them back to discuss picking up the car they tell us that their is a bill for parts that's owed. How can their be a bill for parts if the car was never repaired? We feel that Jim Browne Collision Center is trying to scam us out of money when they know they can't legally keep our car. We want our car back so we can take it somewhere else to get repaired.

    These guys are terrible, every time they give you an estimate it increases exponentially over the course of months.Their final quote is twice what their preliminary estimate is. I have had my ambulance there for 6 months now for repair, every week they tell me my parts will be here 'today/tomorrow' 7 months later my parts will still 'be here today or tomorrow ' Buyer beware AVOID AT ALL COST!!!!!

    Records indicate that the vehicle first arrived at Jim Browne Collision Center on April 7, 2021.
    On April 19, a representative from Advent Health put a stop on the repair, stating that a lawsuit was pending involving the person who was in the ambulance at the time of the crash.
    A representative from Geico Insurance contacted us on May 13, advised that our repair estimate was more than their $10,000 cap and that Advent Health must file a claim under its own policy.
    On May 24, Advent Health gave Jim Browne Collision Center the authorization to order parts. In the process of doing so, we were advised that a replacement left rear outer panel was on national back order, with an estimated availability date of June 17.
    On June 17, we were advised that estimated availability of the left rear outer panel had been moved back to July 22.
    The panel finally arrived at the distribution center in Orlando on August 13, 2021, but was severely damaged in transit and rejected. A replacement panel was estimated to arrive on August 27.
    On August 31, a replacement panel arrived at the distribution center, but did not ship until September 9. We are advised that the panel was damaged but reparable.
    The panel finally arrived at Jim Browne Collision Center on September 14.
    As of October 19, the vehicle's body work is nearing completion and scheduled to be ready for painting by October 21.
    The repair is expected to be complete by October 29.
    Although we empathize with the customer's situation, the many hurdles we have faced are well-documented and beyond our control.
    We have communicated with the customer every step of the way and intend to deliver the vehicle as soon as possible.
