I hired and approved quote from Sunny Dayz tree and landscaping on February 28, 2022. At that time I had asked about the stump grinding and the owner Rafael stated the stumps will be grounded down as to where I can lay sod over them. Sunny Dayz came out on April 22, 2022 and removed the two trees as expected. I told employees Mundo and Adrian not to run over my concrete water drainage because it will not support the heavy equipment they were using but they ran it over anyways and damaged it despite having plenty of room for their equipment.. I got a call from Rafael, the owner on Saturday April 23, 2022. He stated he pays a guy to do his stump grinding and that he will be out to my house around 1 PM. He was also asking for payment. I paid in full for the job per our agreement by credit card at that time. The person who did the stump grinding did a very poor job by leaving debris all over the walk way to my front door, that my wife had to walk thru with her walker, my driveway and my neighbors driveway as well as the stump not being grinded down to industry standards. I have sent pictures and reached out to the owners Rafael and Stella G. of Sunny dayz on April 24th, 25th,29th and May 4th for resolution but they are unresponsive in any communications to me. My contract is with Sunny Dayz not the person who he hired to do the stump grinding which I had no knowledge of a sub contractor until Rafael told me on April 23rd. I have been very patient and have tried to get this resolved but now feel I am being ignored by the owners of Sunny Dayz forcing me to file this complaint as stated in the last email I sent them on May 4th. I am requesting that the owners of Sunny Dayz Tree and Landscape fix my concrete water drainage and make good on the contract and verbal description of the work that was going to be done.
