Under sister company "JAX SOLAR CONTRACTORS INC." (same owners) they installed solar panels at our home. Additional green home improvements totaling $40,000 were NOT performed and we asked to have this money returned to us, which they initially agreed to. When we started asking for specifics as to when we should expect our money back, we had 2 admin assistants completely ghost us and the owner NEVER answer a call or email. They have basically STOLEN this money from us. It's been 6 months of us trying to desperately contact anyone at this company that will even speak to us. Have they no shame? They have pocketed $40K for doing absolutely nothing!Initial Complaint

They offered to install solar panels and to request a loan that was higher than the amount of the installation with the promise that I could use the remaining balance for improvements to my house as a rebate. They never gave me the rebate and I got stuck with a loan much higher than what the project was worth.Initial Complaint

My mother and I worked with the company to add solar panels to our home, they brought us in and told us they could do more. So the package was for solar panels, attic insulation, a new ac with ductwork and a new thermostat, and a rebate check for over $20,000. Then they forced my mother into having a completion call with home run by telling her if she didnt they would file a lean on the home. She did the call then home run paid out and the company disappeared. It has been over 7 months and they do not return my calls or have any indication of completing the work. They robbed from us and Home Run and now I and stuck paying a loan for work that was never completed. This company scammed us.Initial Complaint

jax solar contractors powered by green smart, started a H3*****34333938373231H panel project in my home located at ************************************** ********* ** ***** on 4/18/2022 the project included the removal and replacement of aal the windows and doors for new impact windows and doors , it's also includedthe building of a new metal fence a driveway and a aluminum patio,they did started and installed the H3*****34333938373231H panels and all the windows and doors minus one doble door that is still waiting the installers also broke the base of one the windows and never replaced i have call and speaked to them many times without any succes ,the driveway and the new fence have not been done up and when i called the installer he told me he will not continue on because green smart have not paid him for what he have done so far i also asked ************************************ a contact from the company (phone#**********) to send me a bill with detail of all the expenses so i can file my taxes for last year and all he sent was a page with a total of $64,424 as the total amount i owe to Jax H3*****34333938373231H which i started paying since september of last year but they have never sent me a page with the disclossure of expenses and i feel this is very fraudulent ,they also charging me for water ******* (never replaced) a tree removal (never done)and some blown in insulation that was never performed .i contacted Jax H3*****34333938373231H but they claim that they're just the financial institutions lending the money so i have to continue making the payments and waiting for green smart to complete the job ,also there is another financia; institutions involved by green smart which loaned another ****** dollar that was borrowed because the begining amount of credit given by jax H3*****34333938373231H was not enough and very soon i will have to start making a separate payment on that amount too.Business response

Transaction was October 2021 Loan was approved by MOSAIC for the amount of $96000.00 Business included roofing, impact windows and doors front house, solar panels.Permits were approved since December 2021. First payment started January 25th, 2 weeks started work or 3 months done, if we as a client do not start calling the company and complaining about payment and the work not done yet they do not start until March 2022, and it`s been almost 2 months and the roof is not done yet due to bad work of this company, permits with discrepancy, no communication with the client at all, zero, after so many calls and texts they start the roof, 2 weeks ago they stop due to non-complied with Miami-Dade county codes, we still waiting for permits revision, I went in person to the county office and the inspector supervisor said that revision could be done in a day or two, still waiting, we want the doors with a design and they want to do it plain, just the roofing delayed solar panels for so long. The first payment through the bank account was refunded by them because is a shame that a client pay for a job not done yet, after that they start just to keep our mouth closed. Its unbelievable more than two months to do a roof and not well done, others neighbors has done their roof in a week and we are waiting for this guys. I never contract this company for nothing. Their customer service is the worse ever seen. We are very DISAPPOINTED. A contract done 6 months ago and the job is not 60% yet. We signed an affidavit not to deal with any permits or diligences, I think it wasn`t a good idea.Business response

*********** we (I) want to apologize for the inconvenience this might have caused you, it is not our intention to make your project a bad experience for you by any means. Unfortunately your project has had some out of the ordinary challenges that have just escalated in to more problems, especially on your roof project as you are aware, starting from the ordering of the material when we originally placed the order for your tile roof, lead times were average 12 to 14 weeks, during the middle of the order we were advised from our supplier that lead times were going to increase all the way out to possibly 24 to 26 weeks for delivery which we informed you and obviously you were not happy about that notice which we were not as well but unfortunately stuck and had no other option so we pushed through. as you surly remember. Then you had the issue where you wanted the flat portion of the roof to be tiled and matter of fact, demanded it to be tiled which caused massive issues with the building department and then having to submit revisions to the building department, which once again took more time and headaches but we did it on your behalf no problem just takes more time. Then their was the issue with the leak in the flat area of the roof that we sent our repair guys out several times to fix and come to find out, you spoke to our owner ****** (the Owner of Jax Solar Contractors) the day he came out to look at your front entrance door design that was when you mentioned the existing leak in the same area prior to us even doing any roof modifications. so the bottom line is yes we have had issues and a lot on your job, and from all the notes we have on your account I looks like we have and are still communicating with you and or your partner frequently to assist and make sure your job is completed 100% to your satisfaction. we are not going any where we are here to complete your job as fast and accurate as possible. once again we sincerely apologize for the delays but are striving to get your job completed. you have my direct contact info please contact me directly with any questions.
