Galene sold us a system that doesn't work and work fix it. Won't call us back. Bigger mistake we ever *********** rip off companie !!! My wife has called and so have I and they refuse to fix what they sell. Not good.Business response

BBB;
********************* purchased her water treatment system almost 3 years ago, on 11/18/20. All of our treatment systems have a 10-year tank warranty, 3 years on filtration system parts, 1 year on **s, and a 90-day labor warranty. Filters cartridges, media, and resins are consumables and are not covered under warranties. This is an industry standard as media/filters deteriorate at different rates due to the quality of water that must be treated.
The Kennedys reported no issues with their system until 4/12/22. As a courtesy we replaced their filters and media (a $550 value)without charging for them and explained the maintenance that must be performed to keep the system working properly. They were only charged for service call ($129). We recommended that they purchase a service plan where we maintain the system. They did not purchase a service plan and we have not received payment for the service call yet (1 year and 4 months past due).
On 9/07/22, the Kennedys reported a controller issue and ** light issue. We found the controller issue was due to the settings being changed by someone (not us) and went ahead to reprogram it. The ** light ballast was bad and was not under warranty. The part was replaced, and the customer billed $194.56 for the service call and ** ballast. We have not received payment yet (11 months past due).
On 4/26/23, the customer reported another controller issue.The customer was told that he must pay his past due balance and pay for the service call in advance. The customer was disrespectful to our employees and did not pay his past due balance.
As a resolution. The customer must pay their past due balance, prepay for any additional work, understand the service is required to keep the unit in good order condition (just like replacing oil in a car) and keep in mind they must treat our employees with respect.
