Today I ordered a Jersey from the Super Sports Center website, paid for it, and received an email confirmation of my order with an order #. A little over an hour later, I receive a phone call that stated that the item isn't available even thought it was on their website and I have a confirmation of the purchase. The person that called me told me that they had a Framed version of the Jersey I ordered, only it would cost me an additional $700 ($1,000 total) when my original purchase of only the Jersey was $300. This sounds like your classic bait and switch. I would really like to understand how they can sell a product on their website they don't have in stock and further, I would like them to reach out to their network of suppliers to find the item that I paid for. I know they work with a bunch of vendors so there has to be one available that they can find to complete my order. Offering me another item for $700 more is not great customer service for their mistake. I don't mind waiting for the item if they can provide a timeframe for it's availability at their advertised price.Business response

I was contacted by Mike from Super Sports Center who was very helpful and professional. He explained in detail what happened and I understand the situation which was out of their control as inventory isn't always updated in real time on their site. He apologized for the situation and was able to refund me very quickly. I have no other issues or concerns with my transaction with Super Sports Center and appreciate the direct follow up.
