Date of Stay: May 27, 2022 - May 31, 2022 Amount Paid: $1,761.49 I am filing this complaint because of an issue I had when I stayed at their rental home. I'm the type of person that does not wish any harm on anyone and does not want to interfere with the business that feeds their family. I decided that I would not write a review on VRBO, but I had to notify them of some sanitation issues. The owner decided to lie and give me a rating of 1/5 when I had to clean their home when I arrived. They waited until I could not defend my side, and that is when they submitted their ratings (I have proof). I did inform them of the issues during my stay, and they suggested that I check out the following day and get a refund. This was not a logical solution because I booked this rental home in advance. If they provided me with a refund, I needed to wait seven business days for it to be available in my bank account. Therefore, I would've needed to pay upfront for a new rental home during my stay. This was not an option for us. We then decided to clean the home and spend all day at the theme parks. We only slept at the rental house, and nine people slept in 3 beds because some of the sheets were not clean. This was a health concern for us. I travel to Orlando, FL, every month, and this rental home does not compare to the other rentals in the area. I'm not seeking any money, but I would appreciate an apology for putting a false review on my VRBO profile. This was an immoral act on their part, and it is simply wrong. We should do better as human beings and spread more kindness. I have pictures as evidence showing that this property has the following issues; 1. Damaged and ripped furniture 2. Remote controls do not have a cover which is a hazard for young children. 3. Dirty dishes 4. Dirty bathroom sinks 5. Rodent droppings on garage door 6. Stained pillowcases and covers 7. Roaches on floor and ceiling
