I had my windshield replaced 11/9/2023. I noticed some distortion in the glass on the driver's side but thought it was minor and not a big issue. I usually only use my car to commute over an hour to work and back. In February **** my wife and I got into my car and she sat in the passenger side. She told me that the glass didn't look right. I sat in the passenger side and noticed when you look straight out, the glass looked distorted and had a waving pattern. The distortion was not very visible from the driver side but sitting on the passenger side it was visibly noticeable and very uncomfortable to look through. I contacted Orange Blossom Auto glass about the distortion, and they sent out a person to look at it on 2/14/24. The person acknowledged the distortion and had me send the video I took to him as evidence. On 2/22/24 I was contacted by Orange Blossom Auto glass and notified that no warranty claim could be completed because the person who looked at the glass found two new points of impact on the glass. I read through the warranty information provided online by Orange Blossom Auto Glass and did not find an exclusion for warranty claims based on impacts found. The company states that they will replace windshields with OEM glass free of defects. Based on the fact of the distorted glass, the windshield had several noticeable impacts in a short time and was easily damaged, that the glass is not in fact OEM glass free of defects and should be replaced by Orange Blossom Auto Glass.Customer response

The date I believe was the 25th of January. Orange Blossom Auto Glass came out to my job site to replace my windshield. The person they sent out caused damage to my vehicle and requested I get 3 quotes from 3 different Body shops. from $895 to $2700. They then chose the lowest amount and told me to I'd have to go to the shop with the lowest repair estimate and they would pay them directly. Also, the first time they came out on the 25th, the windshield was done wrong and had to be warrantied out immediately. They sent someone else out to replace it again and I still have a leaking windshield. I got my Insurance involved and my insurance sent someone out to take photos of the damage and write up a repair estimate. Orange Blossom blocked my insurance company phone number. They did not make any arrangements to repair the damage. The Windshield has to be done a 3rd time because its currently leaking water into my car. The estimate of $900+ (I dont have the exact number in hand. it was nearly $1000) won't fix the damage done because body parts have to be ordered, paint has to be done, the windshield has to come back out to fix all the damage. And I feel like im forced to sell my car because I can't get it repaired. I gave my vehicle to this company without damage and I got it back with damage that they don't want to pay for. almost forgot. When the insurance came out to take photos, we were looking at the car together. I very gently pinched the windshield molding to try and look under the edge of it, and the whole entire molding on passenger side came out. I could see a cut mark from the top of the windshield all the way down to the bottom. when Orange Blossom sent someone out the second time to fix the windshield (it was sagging) I got to see the car without the windshield in and the tech told me that the 1st person they sent out put WAY too much polyurethane. It needs to come back out, scraped clean, repainted, etc. This is not how a business should run.Business response
