      Date of transaction: Jan 11, 2022, *********************************** paid: $3,018,05 on 1/11/22, $750 on 1/14/22, and $1,446 on 1/14/22. TOTAL = $5,214.05.What the business committed to provide: Movers unloading my storage unit and loading furniture and boxes onto the moving truck in *******, **. Transportation for my long distance move from *******, ** to ***. Movers unloading the moving truck in ***, bringing my furniture and boxes up to my apartment unit, and re-assembling furniture once in my unit.Nature of dispute: When M&D picked up my furniture and boxes from my storage unit in **, they charged me $3,018.05 when I was quoted $1,600.05. They said they would arrive in *** on 1/17/22 with my boxes, furniture, and belongings. A few days later on 1/14/22, they said I had to pay $750 or all of my stuff would stay in a storage warehouse for ***** business days. I paid them $750 out of desperation. After that, they went completely silent for several days. I could not reach them by phone, text, or email. When we finally did reach them, they said the truck was in an accident on black ice in ************** and my belongings were moved to a warehouse so another truck could pick everything up. They finally arrived in *** on 1/24/22. When they arrived, they refused to open the truck unless we paid an additional $500. They refused to reassemble my furniture, leaving my new apartment in shambles (photo attached). They also refused to bring my sofa up to my unit. I reserved the service elevator specifically for this purpose. They were unprofessional, rude, aggressive, and threatening. They extorted me for almost $4,000 more than our original quote, and I felt desperate to have my personal belongings back so I paid what they demanded. I attached proof of payments here and request a refund of $3,614 ($5,214.05-$1,600.05=$3,614), the amount over the quote.They did NOT try to resolve the issue and were difficult, threatening, and aggressive.       Its Unfourtunate you feel this way, However their are processes you would have to take for any damages which you never requested for, However its going on a year that we serviced you so it has past the claims process timeline. We cannot refund you for a service wrse provided nd you was aware signed and approved for, The charge of $750 dollars your stating was for storage is incorrect you requested your items be delivered PGS which is our ************************* which is a straight deivery and a charge of $750 dollars you willingly paid for on 1/08/2022. all our calls our recorded and monitered and threats where never made to you. that is alligation that we take very seriously.       This company kept insisting to put a deposit down for my move. That I cancelled within 3 days to get a full refund. It took them 3 minutes to take it from my Venmo but I had to wait ***** days for the refund here we are day 16 still no refund please help scary feeling thinking youve gotten scammed

      I procured these movers through a broker. I was told by the broker, my items would be picked up in ** & delivered in GA in **** business days. The broker told me that the job would be $2100. For the full move and i listed off my items. When the movers came, I ended up paying double the price, and paying additional fees for gas etc. which I was originally told was included. My items were picked up on 8/19. I have trackers in my items and they are still in **. Taken off of the truck and put in a one star storage unit. I was NEVER told my items would sit in storage, nor will anyone take my calls from the broker LOR ********* Services LLC, or the moving company M&D Promovers. I emailed both and left messages that I was going to contact the authorities and a very rude woman called me and stated that she is unable to tell me anything about my possessions or when theyll be delivered. I call them, no one answers the phone. I have no idea if I will ever get my items, nor do I know what condition theyre in. I would like my items back, and my money back as this has been a horrible ordeal and they refuse to communicate with me.

      Its unfortunate that you feel this way, however I recall our many conversations with updates and storage and delivery information. you where always informed of your delivery status it may have not been what you wished to hear however you where notified. even when we finally where headed to your home you then did not want to accept delivery, you we not very pleasant yourself however M & D Pro Movers LLC and Lor transportation did our best to provide you with excellent customer service, again our apologies for not meeting your expectations but we have delivered your items already and within our contract time frame.

      On dec 19,2022 M&D pro movers contractEd our move to Fla from ** to A&D movers. Delivery was made 2 weeks later than the promised date at 10:30 at night minus one small suitcase. I called company they said they would look for it. I kept calling. Suitcase contained very expensive formal dresses (8). In April I received a call from M&D they found my suitcase. A woman called from ******** that she found it in her storage. They told me they would get it soon. To date I have not received it. (July 14,2022). They say they cannot contact lady. I wanted the address I would pick it up or send ***** to retrieve it. They know her address. They refuse to give me any info.these dresses are very valuable to me and I would so much like to have them returned to me. I did not file for any insurance because I really want my dresses returned.any way u can help me?

      I paid this company a $550 deposit, another $3,143.70 on pickup, and $1,347.32 on delivery. They packed my things in ***********, ** on May 17th and transported them to *********, ** apparently to sit in a hot warehouse for almost 2 months were many of my belongings were damaged. I NEVER heard from them after pickup. I constantly called asking when Id get my things and they never answered the phones and rarely ever returned my calls from voicemails left by my mother and I. They finally informed my mom that they have 30 business days to deliver, which would be June 28th. Three of my White **** candles melted and were broken (value= $24.50/each). My mirror that the movers wrapped themselves was shattered (value=$65) and my new ** 43 smart TV (value= $329.99) was also wrapped by the movers was broken/screen smashed and cracked. After threatening to get a lawyer, they said Id get a 24hr notice of when my things would be delivered. June 24th at 10:20am, the secretary called saying I should get my items between 4-6pm. There was no 24hr notice. I called June 27th for a claims form and was told it would be emailed to me but I havent received it yet. They have not returned my calls since. No one communicates at this company. We only speak when I call and thats if they choose to answer their phones. I just want to be reimbursed for my belongings. I also took pictures of the damaged items.

      In regards to the damages we are very apologetic this occured, I know you have started the process with our claims department and once a settlement has been reached we will address this immedialety. as for the lack of communication your stating I dont agree, I was in communication with you in regards to delivery as well as your mother, I tried to expedite your delivery to the best of my ability, we always try to deliver everyone as soon as possible and have many customers whom we have delivered as soon as possible however you where made aware of the circumstances as to why there where delays. which in any business it happens we are sorry however this incovinenced you and will take this as a learning expierence for future customers.

      I am rejecting this response because: the communication with ********* at ******************* (the initial pickup company) was superb! D&A were always available and extremely helpful. It was M & D Pro Movers LLC (the delivery company) that was terrible with communication. At M & D, ****** was never available. I would have to call ********* at D&A to get in contact with ****** at M&D for my mom and I. M&D never contacted me, until I left an irate voicemail or when they gave me less than an 8hr notice of my delivery. Otherwise, I constantly called and they were RARELY available. So, if this is D&A replying to me in this response then yes, I agree that they communicated greatly. The delivering company, M&D, is who had the worst communication Ive experienced with any company. I also thank them for their apology.

      I reject this response, as I have several phone recordings of our conversations and communication back and fourth, this was all in regards to delivery and when you can expect it, And as i communicated with you and your mother that as soon as I was made aware of when you will be delivered I will call you once you where loaded and once you will be delivered. however it doers not do you any good for me to call every d/ay to tell you when you are not loaded and will not be delivered, so a phone call daily with that response will only serve as an aggravation to the customer. You did speak to me ****** I did communicate with you and tried my best to keep you in the loop. I apologize if it wasn't as often as you may have wanted.

      My husband and I hired this company for moving our belongings from Brooklyn, ** to ************ on 3/4/2022. The movers picked up our items on 3/17/2022 and were asked to deliver our belongings by 3/19/2022. We never received our belongings on the date agreed on and we never received a phone call to inform us of any delays. We have been calling the company to get some answers as to when our belongings will be delivered and most days we get no answer and when they do pick up the call, they tells us that the items will be delivered within the week and it never happens. It is now past 30 days, and we do not have our belongings and no clue as to why the company won't give us an actual delivery date or to why it is taking so long. All we asked is to get our belongings back.

In response to this complaint you currently have been delivered, also per our contract we initially have 30 business days to deliver all customers, however if we run into some unforeseen delays and go past the 30days we will in turn reimburse the customer either on delivery or subtract it off the **** prior to delivery which was the case for your delivery. we subtracted $300 dollars off your **** for the delay, I do apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused you.

      On 9/27 the company picked up items from my recently deceased mother's apartment in Delray Beach and placed them in their truck to be delivered to my home in Georgia. We were not given a copy of contract. Had to pay 1000 up front. Venmo. We were told it would be there the next morning. It wasn't. After several days they wanted to deliver at night on a night when my husband was working security at the Braves game in ********. He told them that night wouldn't work. They said they'd try another day. They called on 10/6 and said they'd be here between 9 and 11 am. Didn't show. We called at 7 pm and they gave excuses about traffic and company credit cards not working. Showed up at 10 pm. We asked to see the items to make sure no damages. Foreman said no, we had to pay first. Since we didn't have the contract we didn't know. They wouldn't unload our property. We called the cops. Driver said he feared for his life, closed the truck and drove off with my property.
