Warranty work performed on F-250. Meets all warranty criteria. Was told the process is to take the vehicle to mechanic for repairs but was told that I could file a claim for a reimbursement for the work that was done (fuel pressure system was broken, was not drivable). 1. Initial claim denied because "mileage at time of repair" was not listed on invoice. Mechanic went back and checked records, added mileage at time of repair. 2. Second time claim was denied because we "didn't follow the process." Recorded call will prove that I was told I could file for a reimbursement of the cost of the repairs.Initial Complaint

Bought a used vehicle online from the dealership Synergy Auto Deals LLC, on 07/24/2023, it is now 01/02/2024. I still have not received the title for the vehicle. I call multiple times monthly and all I get is "I will be sending it in the mail soon". The first Titleist told me she would send me an extended registration license plate that would cover till the title was sent, she never did. Within the past few weeks they have a new Titleist, she said she would send me the title by mail within the week, never did. I will have to look into legal options if they do not fix this ASAP. I am tired of driving around with an expired license plate and no registration waiting to be fined. I would like the price I paid for titling, registration, and license plate for the huge inconvenience and stress they have caused me of $795 dollars and pay any fines I incur while waiting for the title still because of their negligence to do the whole job.Business Response

I purchased this 2015 Infiniti QX80 on October 20, 2023, from Synergy Auto Deals, and received it on Saturday, October 28, 2023. I have been unable to drive the vehicle because of its poor condition. First and foremost, the sales manager ****************** promised me that I would receive the car vehicle mechanically sound, with interior, and exterior above normal mint condition, and the dealership staff claimed to have done a full inspection and promised that the car I was buying was in great shape. It was imperative that we had that conversation before I purchased the cited car, I had multiple conversations with ****************** and his assistant **************** because I would not be able to see or drive the vehicle because I have an elderly member in our family, who is disabled and needs around-the-clock assistance, therefore, we could not drive down to ******* to see the vehicle or the test drive, so they promised (****************** and his assistant ****************) that everything would be *************, and I would be happy. Upon the arrival and unloading of the car, I noticed at first glance that there was an overwhelming number of scratches and dents all over the body of the car, and the driver-side turn single glass was broken. The delivery transportation guy at first argued with me for fifteen minutes that he would not re Synergy Auto Deals lease the car until I paid him for delivering the car and I had to call the dealership office and speak to the staff to resolve the issue as I had already paid in advance for that service. The vehicle tires were in poor condition, and one was flat. The transportation guy had to jump the vehicle and maneuver the key fob which connects to the automatic push button to start the car. The fob battery was dead, so the guy showed me how to hold the fob close to the start button in order for it to start. I drove the car down the road, and it ran out of gas. I could not believe what I was experiencing. I could not believe anybody would have shipped a car with that many things being wrong, especially a $16,600 vehicle. Instead of me being excited I had nothing but anxiety and sadness. The day of delivery was hot, and the car air conditioning did not work, the engine was running sluggish with multiple warning lights on including the check engine light that was on. I immediately called the dealership and got the runaround, and the sales manager refused to talk to me or call me. Not only did they deceive me into believing that I purchased a quality vehicle, but they coerced me into signing an e-contract with multiple buy-as-is languages excluding the dealership from fraudulent activity, all alone lying to me to mislead me into giving them $16,600.00 cash for a car that had multiple engine issues, an overwhelming amount of scratches and dents all over the body of the car and interior dirty. As of this date, I have paid over $6798.00 for repairs and services and have not been able to drive the car because it has been in the shop. After calling Synergy Auto Deals office more than fifteen times and spoken to your staff members on separate occasions each time requesting that you give me a call with regards to the 2015 Infiniti QX80. I texted **************** pleading with him and ****************** to resolve this issue immediately however ****************** refused to call me back. At that point, I had no other choice but to get the car repaired which placed me and our family in financial hardship. On November 3, 2023, I sent out another letter telling ****************** that he and his dealership staff claimed to have done a full inspection and promised that the car I was buying was in great shape. Not only did he deceive me into believing that he was a man of integrity but coerced me into signing an e-contract with multiple buy-as-is languages excluding himself and his dealership from fraudulent activity, all alone lying to me to mislead me into giving you $16,600.00 cash for a car that had multiple engine issues, an overwhelming amount of scratches and dents all over the body of the car. ****************** responded the first time on November 4, 2023, and said that I could return the vehicle at my cost, and that he would refund my $16,000. I emailed him back and said that he needed to pay me for all the repairs. Which totals over $6,798.15 and we can split the vehicle shipping costs he replied NO. Because ****************** refused to call me back, I had no other choice but to try to salvage the situation and get the car repaired to drive it. If ****************** had called me back on the day of delivery, I would have gladly returned the vehicle.Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because: The dealership refuses to address the additional cost to get the car engine running correctly and providing it to be safe for road condition as agreed. The sales advisor who was helping him was up front, and honest by telling him the particular vehicle he called about has issues and we are not comfortable selling that unit. I am rejecting this response because:The dealership claimed in their response that on October 19th,2023, I spoke to their sales agent also known as ***************************** who did say that the vehicle,I asked about online was unavailable and had mechanical problems. ***************************** did say that they purchase quality vehicles from auctions and ensured that those vehicles purchased would be of high-quality,mechanically sound, with interior, and exterior above normal mint condition. ***************************** claimed that the dealership backed their position by doing a full inspection and servicing it before I received it. ************************ and his dealership promised that the car I was buying was in mint condition.
The dealership claimed: October 20th 2 emails were sent to the client with pictures, Vin, and descriptions and he chose the one that would fit his budget. Everything was explained to ********************** prior to purchasing the vehicle.
The dealership alleged that on October 20, 2023, they sent me pictures to my email, this is an untrue statement, they sent two distorted pictures of the vehicle in question to my cellular phone (texted message 11:38 am) on October 20, 2023, (at 11:38 am) and I called them at their office around noon time and mention that they needed to send me clearer pictures of the vehicle - they did not. I asked if the cited car had been water damaged and **************** responded through text message, no! The car was perfect (2:47 pm). There were no descriptions of the vehicle, only the vehicle VIN (3:19 pm). At 6:07 pm that afternoon, I sent an urgent text to **************** that echoed our concerns about the unseen vehicle I was talking to my wife and we both agreed that since we had not had the vehicle checked out, we are reluctant to purchase without adding additional contract language that the engine and transmission running correctly and that there are no damages to the paint. Again, *************** guaranteed me that we were getting a mechanically sound car, with the interior, and exterior above normal mint condition,
According to ***************** the dealership had performed a full inspection and servicing of the vehicle and promised that the car I was buying was in mint condition. In fact, on October 27, 2023, at 10:04 am I received a text message from **************** certifying that the vehicle had been fully inspected and serviced. See text messages. Based on their promises and guarantees that the vehicle was in mint condition founded on **************** and ******* verbal guarantees we agreed to purchase the cited vehicle.
The dealership claimed that: Everything was explained to ********************** prior to purchasing the vehicle.
The dealership's statement is fallacious,************************* the General Sales Manager, nor **************** not once explained to me that they were selling me a vehicle in poor and unsafe condition (For $16600.00). Upon receiving the vehicle on October 28, 2023, one was flat and the remaining three tires were in poor condition, engine was running sluggish and misfiring with multiple warning check engine lights that were on. The heating and cooling unit was broken (no air, no heat) replacement cost was very expensive because the car service shop had to remove the dashboard and replace the whole heating and cooling unit purchased from Infinity dealership, this was an extensive repair that took over a week to install. The car had an overwhelming amount of scratches and dents all over the whole body of the car as if someonemaliciously took a sharp blunt object and carved both sides of the doors and the quarter panels (the car needs a new paint job) these are not minor cosmetic issues as the dealership alluded to in their response. The driver-side or left-side mirror came damaged with the turn single lens as well as the lower part of the housing is broken (replacement cost is over $1,500.00). The vehicle needed sensors replaced, and other tune-up parts. If they (******************* or ****************) had been transparent in the beginning and had explained the real condition of the vehicle from the beginning,I would have said No!, I wont be buying your car. Instead, they misled me into believing that the 2015 Infiniti QX80 I was getting was in mint condition. They coerced me into signing an e-contract with multiple buy-as-is languages excluding the dealership from fraudulent activity, all alone deceitfully ensuring me I was purchasing a mint condition car. As of this date, I have paid over $6798.00 for repairs and last week the transmission started to slip gears. It should be noted that the alleged buyer's guide document was never explained to me, and this was my first knowledge of this document and must been part of the e-file signed with the one-click digital signature, and it was not visible until the dealership sent it back to me after the contract was implemented, this was a very evasive tactic. ****************** knowingly withheld critical information about the 2015 Infiniti QX80 which was mechanically unsafe and needed an extensive amount of repairs before it was deemed safe to drive. ****************** waited until November 4, 2023, to contact me in writing to justify his unsavory tactics to place my family in financial harm and loss as I had paid over $6798.00 for repairs before he responded to the offer to take the vehicle back.
Below is the email sent on November 4, 2023, which was the first time ****************** contacted me since the beginning transaction of purchase.
*******************
My deepest and most sincere apologies with everything you said you have experience with our company. Also, apologies for not getting back to you sooner. I was made aware of the situation and we can remedy at it.
The dealership claimed that: After ********************** express his dissatisfaction with the vehicle, we told him that we would be willing to get the vehicle back and provided a full refund of $16,000.00 except for the Transport which we had to hire a third party company on an open trailer to ship the vehicle to him, ********************* declined he wanted $16600 plus another $3000.The dealership's statement is fallacious and is taken out of context.
On October 28, 2023, at approximately 5 PM. I contacted the dealership to express my disaffection with the vehicle and wanted a refund. I continued to call their office to speak to ****************** but he refused to talk to me. I called more than fifteen times and left messages with their staff members on separate occasions each time requesting that ****************** give me a call with regards to the 2015 Infiniti QX80 and again, he refused to call me back. I exhausted every effort including text messaging *****************who specified that ****************** was the only one who could change anything, my efforts fell on deaf ears. At that point, I felt that I had no other choice but to go into more debt using my credit cards to get the vehicle repaired so I could drive it which placed our family in further financial hardship. It should be noted that the vehicle was in such poor condition that it would not pass the mandatory ***** ********** of ***** Vehicle required inspection to get tags and legally drive the car. ********************** dealership waited until I made an extensive amount of repairs to the car in the amount of $6798.00 before offering to take the car back. I expressed in writing that if the dealership would pay for the repairs, and pay half of the shipping costs, I was more than willing to send the vehicle to their dealership. If ****************** had picked up the phone and called me back on the day of delivery, I would not have suffered those additional repair costs which placed our family under financial duress. I paid $16,600 for the vehicle, $6,798.00 in repairs, and $1000.00 in title sales taxes which cost me $24,398.00 for a vehicle that still has an overwhelming amount of scratches and dents all over the whole body of the car as if someone maliciously took a sharp blunt object and carved both sides of the doors and the quarter panels (the car needs a new paint job) these are not minor cosmetic issues as the dealership alluded to in their response.
The dealership general manager ****************** cited that: When I told ********************** the refund is not something that we have to do as a company, all vehicle are sold as is, it was a courtesy extended to him, he replied "see you in court".
************************* the General Sales Manager, and **************** knowingly sold me a car in poor and unsafe condition. As noted in the documentation provided. The fact of the matter is that the car was unsafe and undriveable when I received it on October 28, 2023. ****************** refused to call me back after I called his office countless times and sent emails concerning the condition of the vehicle and wanting to resolve the matter.
***************** alleged that his dealership sells all vehicles sold-as-is, That was never mentioned during any of my communications with me in the beginning of the buying process. ****************** failed to explain that his vehicles needed lots of repairs that would exceed the value of the car purchase price. ***************** and **************** maliciously fibbed me into believing I was getting a mint-conditioned vehicle. ****************** knew I was unable to come to his location in ******* to test drive the vehicle thereby verbally telling me that the 2015 Infiniti QX80 I was getting was in mint condition. ****************** with malice and intent, misled me into believing I was receiving a vehicle mechanically sound, with interior, and exterior above normal mint condition. They coerced me into signing an e-contract with multiple buy-as-is languages excluding the dealership from fraudulent activity by telling me they were men of integrity, and they had my interest at heart. I purchased a vehicle for $16,600 and it should have been running in good condition yeah, Mr. ****** continues not to take responsibility for putting my family in harm's way by selling me a subpar vehicle that has cost me over $7000.00 in repairs, plus $1000.00 to get the title transferred into my name.
****************** wanted me to ship the car back to his dealership and the estimated cost was $900, I have spent $7000.00 in repairs, and $1000.00 for the title fees which totals $8900.00 investment of credit card debt. Mr. ****** unwellness to make things right is the reason I said, See you in court. I believe that the dealership intended the delayed response knowing that repairs made only benefited Mr. ******* and his dealership.

Hello,
We already responded to this complaint and provided all the evidence. We did not have this car on our lot. This a car was picked out by the customer. We can not responsible for anything as the car was sold AS IS. The customer understood the risks of buying a used vehicle from the auction before he bought. It's unfortunate but it is machine.

Synergy Auto Deals LLC and its executive officer ************************ now alludes to the fact that The customer understood the risks of buying a used vehicle from the auction before he bought. It's unfortunate but it is machine.
First and foremost, I purchased the vehicle from Synergy Auto Deals LLC. I have never been to a dealership auction, nor do I understand that process. From my understanding, almost all dealerships deal with auctions, and they buy and sell vehicles for profit. Many of these dealerships will buy high-quality vehicles and then service them to ensure that their customers are completely satisfied. Mr. ****** knew I lived ***** miles away from his dealership he took advantage of me because he knew that we had ailing family members who were sick. Mr. ****** knew I was unable to physically drive 17-plus hours down to ******* and look at any of their vehicles, but he reassured me that he sold high-quality vehicles and that he was a man of integrity; It was for that reason that I trusted him and his associate. They willfully, and maliciously took advantage of our ailing parents' situation, and he lied to me furthermore, he promised that the QX80 I was getting was in mint condition and would be serviced reassuring me that there were safeguards in place.
Upon receiving the vehicle on October 28, 2023, one tire was flat and the remaining three tires were in poor condition, the engine was running sluggish and misfiring with multiple warning check engine lights that were on. The heating and cooling unit was broken (no air, no heat) replacement cost was very expensive because the car service shop had to remove the dashboard and replace the whole heating and cooling unit purchased from Infinity dealership. The car has an overwhelming number of scratches and dents all over the whole body of the car as if someone maliciously took a sharp blunt object and carved both sides of the doors and the quarter panels (the car needs a new paint job) these are not minor cosmetic issues as the dealership alluded to in their response. The driver-side or left-side mirror came damaged with the turn single lens as well as the lower part of the housing is broken (replacement cost is over $1,500.00). The vehicle needed sensors replaced, and other tune-up parts. As of this date, I have paid over $6798.00 for repairs and now the transmission has started to slip gears. The dealership needs to refund my $16,600.00 for the vehicle and $6798 for the repairs.
Sincerely,

I purchased a used ****** Tundra (VIN: *****************) on 5/26/2022 from Synergy Auto Deals for $33,507.35 which included taxes and the optional extended warranty by ALPHA ******** Services (Contract Number: VSC1000066442) for $2,495. On 5/31/2022, I called Synergy Auto to cancel my car extended warranty contract and receive full refund within the 60 days of purchase with the vehicle. I spoke to the finance department, and they said theyll return my call in five minutes. After waiting a couple hours, I arrived in person at Synergy Auto Deals at 12:55 pm to cancel the car warranty contract and receive my refund of $2495, as its states in the contract. After speaking with the finance and the owner ************************* they refused to cancel the warranty contract and refused to refund the amount of $2,495 that was paid on 5/26/2022. ************************* stated that if I wanted to cancel my ALPHA ******** contract, Ill have to hand over the purchased vehicle to Synergy Auto Deals, and theyll void the whole transaction. As it states in ALPHA ******** contract attached on page 6, I am able to cancel this contract and receive a full refund within 60 days of purchase. In addition, I called ALPHA warranty today 5/31/2022 at 1:52pm and spoke to Lexi to report that Synergy Auto Deals refused to cancel the contract and refund the amount paid. ALPHA warranty looked over my contract and stated I am able to cancel and receive a full refund since Im within 60 days of purchase. ***** stated that the cancellation and refund process will have to go through Synergy Auto deals which theyve refused to honor the contract.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because after calling ******** from Synergy Auto on 10/26/23 I was told to give Alpha warranty a call since the dealership never received a refund check from Alpha Warranty. I called Alpha warranty immediately after speaking to ******** and the agent said that Synergy Auto needs to call their sales department in order process a refund check for the cancelled warranty. After ending the call with Alpha warranty I called back ******** to let her know that Synergy Auto needs to call Alpha warranty in order to process the refund. ******** said that the owner *********************** will call Alpha Warranty regarding this issue. I asked about the time frame when this call will be made by the ***** and she's unable to give me a time frame. Until the call is made with and a refund disbursed I will not accept this response till then.

I purchased a truck a few days back and received the truck on 8/9/2023. Upon receiving the truck I immediately noticed that there is more than 5+ check engine lights on! I asked repeatedly over and over if this truck had any issues. Of course he said that the truck did not have any issues at all but that is clearly not the case. There is multiple check engine lights on for the DEF system as well as a Oxygen(NOX) sensor. After calling the dealership and speaking with them I was essentially told oh well, it is a used vehicle and that I should've bought an extended warranty on. The issue I have is I was told that this truck had no issues at all and here we are with multiple issues. They offered no sort of help other than trying to sell me on an additional extended warranty. I feel as if they took advantage of the fact that I paid for this vehicle in full site un-seen. All I ask is if I can get a small reimbursement/refund on the deposit to help pay for the repair.Business Response

the customer was made aware that this was a used vehicle, we tried to come to an agreement with the customer, and offered him an warrenty at the time of purchase, which he declined. we even offered to pay the warranty for him at our cost which he also declined.Business Response

At the time of purchase, the customer understood the truck was being sold AS IS. We offered an extended warranty for peace of mind which the customer declined. The truck left our lot perfectly fine. This a 2012 truck with 109k miles. It will not be perfect. Unfortunately with the truck price heavily discounted, we cannot offer any more discount.Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because:Firstly, I was never offered any kind of warranty verbally at all. Secondly, the truck DID NOT leave the lot perfectly fine as on startup off the delivery truck the truck had EIGHT check engine lights, bald tires, hail damage to the hood and roof that WASNT disclosed, inoperative back glass window, broken backup sensors, and rust on the frame. I explicitly asked multiple times and was assured that this truck did not have any rust at all on this truck. However once again they did not tell me the truth. Besides this, the tires were bald and the brakes were wore out, which those are wear items so I wasn't to awfully mad about but they just didn't tell me anything at all about the issues on the truck. I called about some of the issues and was told there isn't anything they can do. I have owned this truck for a few months and have spent $1,000s of dollars fixing this "fine" truck. Completely blind sided and took advantage of since I bought the truck out of state and sight unseen. I asked over and over a few simple questions and was assured that no the truck is fine with no damage, issues, or rust. It had all of the above since it got backed off the trailer. Terrible way to treat a cash customer that paid in full same day at the dealers request to do a wire. Highly dissatisfied, and highly disrespected by the fact of these issues being wrote off as "it was fine when it left". These issues do not simply just arise on a trailer.

They did not offer any warranty for the truck. They did offer a warranty after I called them about the issues on the truck, HOWEVER they offered to SELL me a warranty at their cost. I do no trust to pay them for anything else as they did not tell me the truth about the status of the truck.Initial Complaint

Synergy Auto Deals LLC engages in fraudulent and deceiving tactics to mislead consumer during recent auto purchase. Lack of full disclosure and transparency of overall vehicle condition; displaying complete lack of disregard for proper resolution, concern, or fair value assessment to consumer for (financial and emotional) hardships that have been endured. On Saturday, May 13, 2023, I purchased a used '19 ****** GR86 (VIN *****************) from Synergy Auto Deals. At time of purchase, the buyer (myself) was not informed of a defective engine which was discovered only when the buyer did due diligence with a certified ****** technician. Attached is a copy of report obtained from ****** which includes the inconsistencies of vehicle condition, including 'engine soft block' Synergy Auto refused to acknowledge that they knew of the issue prior to sale and that "as is" condition is solely fault of consumer. While on site at dealership, consumer had questioned the origin of the noise and was advised it to be "normal". There were several other inconsistencies as well, including faulty tire sensor and a locked trunk latch. Both items were addressed by consumer onsite, advised by staff it was addressed. Upon arrival to destination in ************, **, it was evident neither was corrected.Due to alarming inconsistencies, vehicle was brought to certified ****** tech which found the variety of issues. In several discussions with Synergy, they refused to reimburse for any repairs, or to accept the vehicle back. At one point, consumer was advised, "their mechanic would ensure all work is under warranty;" (isn't that like fraud?) While seeking compromise, consumer was told by "*****" (General Manager?), "stop running yourself in circles. There is nothing I can do, and there is nothing we will do". He further stated that the owner, *************************, has no email or phone number and won't be contacted.Consumer seeks reimbursement of costs of engine repair not covered by warrantyBusiness Response

Vehicles are disclosed and sold as is, it is the customers responsibility to properly inspect the vehicle before driving the car off the lot. we do not condone in misleading practices, and all cars sold are listed as is. The customer gets offered an extended warranty to cover any unknown issues that *** occur, with this particular deal there was a trade in ( *** Z4) which has been sold already,. there cannot be any refund because everything was disclosed prior to the customer finalizing the finance contract. Before the lender finalized the finance contract, there was a customer interview where the bank asks the customers questions about the condition of the vehicle and there where no issues mentioned and the deal was funded. The only resolution will be, switching of the warranty to make sure the proper repairs are made and covered. if the are Any deductibles synergy as a courtesy will be willing to pay the fee.Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because:During the review of the vehicle at time of purchase, the discrepancy with the engine noise was brought up by the consumer to the salesperson, who advised it was a standard noise associated with that sort of engine. Consumer thought it may have been a loose belt, which is what prompted consumer to take car to a certified Toyota technician for further evaluation. It was during this diagnosis that the engine was found to be a rebuild with presence of water in the oil.
Consumer understands that vehicles are sold 'as in' condition, though there was not full disclosure or transparency as to the actual condition of the engine. For the consumer to find this information on their own shows a lack of due diligence on part of dealership. Though its quite perplexing how there was a lack of good faith assistance or a willingness to resolve issue on behalf of consumer. While conducting additional research with BBB and with the ********** of ******* Safety and Motor Vehicles, both agencies reveal failing grades when it comes to consumer assistance. It is disheartening that such pattern lacking in ethics are evident with this company.
The vehicle in question, is currently still at the dealership that it was originally brought to on 5/18, with an engine that is deemed worthless. The integrity of the mechanic themselves has caused them to not diagnosis the engine any further. Though the warranty covers any mechanical issues, it does not cover faulty craftsmanship from an undisclosed engine rebuild. The vehicle had on record that it was run through high water in August 2022. This information was never disclosed or mentioned. The next time the vehicle is moved it will be on the flatbed of a wrecker. Consumer is at full loss of a vehicle that was driven 3x, as of no fault of their own, and only flaw was to trust that the dealership was being truthful and honest in the first place.
Sincerely,

Greetings BBB team! I wish to share an additional comment to the update. Synergy Auto Deals offered magnificent resolution to the matter. Upon further research, the original car had several defects that were not known to the dealer or consumer at time of purchase. Their team was true professionals with resolving the matter and ensuring the swapped vehicle met their standards of excellence. Kudos to Synergy Auto for working with me and I am very grateful to them!
