On 12/20/2021 I dropped off my 1998 National Dolphin motorhome for engine maintenance and a couple other issues. On 12/23/2021 I picked up the vehicle only to discover the vehicle was not fixed infact it ran worse and the said repairs were not done. I also discovered my motorhome was burglarized and the following was stolen Dell laptop and leather carry case a Smith&Wesson 38 cal pistol a 9mm Traci pistol 800 in cash a personal safe. They will not honor their warranty and I also sent a registered letter asking for a remedy but have not heard a word and it's been a month. Please help me with this issue. Thank you...

Business Response /* (1000, 8, 2022/03/31) */ This customer brought his 97 Ford Dolphin motorhome to us with instructions to install his customer supplied tune up parts which includes spark plugs, distributor cap, and ignition rotor. The supplied distributor cap was unusable. He also wanted the front turn signals and brake hydraulic system repaired . (I informed him we did not have a specialized lift to raise a motorhome before he brought it) The rear brake hydraulic system was crimped off / disabled by another repair facility and was unsafe to drive for testing. It also had a waste tank leaking so we didn't want to crawl under it in that area. The main battery it arrived with was an old undersize car battery not sufficient to do electrical testing. We had phone approval to replace that battery from the owner. (The coach batteries that supply power for coach lighting and accessories were also old and severly corroded) He declined those batteries. There were previous repairs made on this motorhome that Royal Tire and Air did not do or are responsible for. We did remove rodent nests and replace vacuum hoses to the EVAP canister (Passenger front ) Rodent droppings were vacuumed off multiple areas. After repairs the signals were operational, the engine started and the charging system was within the normal range. Left out of the complaint was that the motorhome had to be picked up by the end of the week because he was staying with friends and he was living in it full time. His girlfriend showed up and told us to get the repair done as soon as possible because she couldn't stand staying with friends any longer. We only had it one day when she came in. We did tell him to get the hydraulic brake system repaired at a facility that could lift it so we could do a test ride. He found out after he bought it that it sat 7 years unused and after driving it away the tires blew out and the brake line ruptured before he got it home. He bought a big problem. The police were called to investigate the alleged theft. The officer reviewed our security camera footage for over an hour and a half. The officer told the customer that no one removed any items from the motorhome while it was on Royal Tire and Airs property other than him. Also that it was locked every night . The customer was informed a police report could be filed but it would state that nothing was stolen while on our property. The customer sat up and walked out and said he felt like an idiot. I have camera footage from our lobby that has the entire conversation between the customer and the police officer. Its clear as a bell. Too bad this wasn't mentioned in the BBB complaint. I will supply this camera footage and additional details if needed. Regards, John F***** Consumer Response /* (3000, 10, 2022/04/07) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) Mr F***** lied about replacing vacuum lines the original factory vacuum lines are still in place and have NEVER been replaced. He was instructed to repair the headlight wiring on pass side and get the motorhome running on all 8 cylinders. After finding the shop was unable to repair brakes he was instructed to just get it running right. I have a recorded message from Mr F***** stating they will get it running on all 8 cylinders. I also have several pictures showing all original factory vacuum lines are still in place and 1 vacuum line was repaired with gray RTV gasket silicone. I will also provide a statement from a ASE certified mechanic who will prove that Mr F***** is a liar.I did purchase a battery but he lied about the charging system because it does not work because the motorhome died 3 times in the Campground and each time I had to be jumped to start it back up and put it in its spot. I also have people who will gladly make statements proving this. I dropped off the motorhome 12/20/21 Mr F***** called me on 12/23/21 and claimed it was fixed when I arrived I was rushed in and out because the guys wanted to go home for the holidays. I started the engine and immediately noticed the engine actually ran worse than when it was dropped off. I had to take delivery because I live full time in my motorhome. Mr F***** knows very well that you DO NOT have to test drive a vehicle to know if its running on all 8 cylinders. Mr F***** is lying and I can and will prove it. With pictures and statements from witnesses and certified mechanic. The investigation into my motorhome being burglarized on the property at 820 Mason Avenue Royal Tire and Air is still on going and the police will handle the theft. But I will say when I came and told mr F***** about approximately 40 dollars in change was also missing Mr F***** reaches into his pocket and tried to give me the cash so I would bs quite about this or something I dont know. I have a witness to this as well. I will not stop pursuing my case against Royal Tire and Air until they so the right thing Mr F*****'s business has several sticker that says he has security cameras and video recording but that's not true which gave me a false impression of safety and security when it comes to my motorhome. Mr F***** knows exactly what he is doing. He has a lot of experience with this kinda stuff. Business Response /* (4000, 14, 2022/04/22) */ I just read the second response to ************** complaint. I don't have lie about repairing a 25 year old motorhome that sat 7 years unused. I'd have gladly rechecked our work if he didn't falsely accuse us of theft. The silicone on a vacuum line was there before we worked on it, it wasn't leaking anyway. I never stated we replaced every single vacuum line, some were perfectly fine. The charging system was within specs when it left. We do have security cameras all over the property. The police officer viewed the footage for over an hour and told ****** ****** nothing was taken out of that motorhome while on our property and if a police report was filed it would state that. You should've filed that police report instead of getting all upset and running out. Saying you left handguns , large amounts of cash, a laptop, change, and a safe in a vehicle staying overnight at a repair facility is the only lie in this scenario. (And why did you decline the police report?) I've been a shop owner for over 34 years , have so many good customers I can't keep up and don't need to lie for any reason. The technician that worked on this motorhome was an auto tech instructor at the college for 5 years. I was a master technician for over 25 years and an Advance Level Specialist. I also restored multiple antique cars and received a Grand National AACA award for my work. This 25 year old Dolphin motorhome is going to need many repairs that can't be blamed on anything other than time and age. Mark my words.
