I am writing this letter to complain about my poor experience at The Super 8 by Wyndham Daytona Beach Florida. So basically I purchased a room through capital one travel for 416.92 for a 2 day stay from 7/15 to 7/17 2022 at Wyndham Super 8 Daytona Beach Florida. I arrived, check-in late that evening and laid down only to discover the bed had bedbugs! I spoke with the desk clerk because no management was available. They said they would move me to another room but I couldn't be reimbursed until Monday when management was available. The room was not the standard of the room I paid for but at 3 oclock in the am I had no choice but to take it.( Im 9 months pregnant and tired) So fast forward I sent an email to the AGM PJ to make sure I would be reimbursed because word of mouth means nothing these days. The AGM never responded. So I waited till Monday and called back. The AGM stated that I have to go through *******. He was very rude basically acted like he didn't care that they had bugs. He showed no remorse and tried to state that they have a bug person come every month and they have to verify with them first.(even though I had pictures and proof) I personally didn't book through ******* but I thought maybe *********** used the 3rd party to book the room. So after speaking with my credit card company the hotel AGM only agreeded to give me $70!!!! this was total ridiculous and at this point I am going to take this further if i cannot get the full refund I was promised by 2 different hotel clerks.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 8, 2022/08/14) */ This reservation is being managed by******** and we have already responded to******** regarding refund with the proof on bugs issue which guest is claiming. We can not accommodated any other request on this case. Consumer Response /* (3000, 10, 2022/08/16) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) Y'all gave a refund of $70. I don't even know where that amount came from. I did not approve of that amount when I paid $416.00 in total for my stay!!!! That amount didn't even cover a full night!!!!
