My family attended a Club Wyndham/ Winner's Circle information session where they felt incredibly pressured and even uncomfortable with the sales tactics used. They felt mislead by the salespeople, and pressured to sign up for a credit card being told it was a rewards program.I called the resort directly to find out how to contact those with the presentation. I personally felt deceived by the fact that calling the resort through the phone number on their website leads to a looping call asking you to hold indefinitely- they will never answer the phone unless you use dial codes to bypass the indefinite hold loop. Once I reached the front desk, I was transferred to someone who could help. I requested to share our experience and to understand exactly what was going on, but the person I spoke to was very standoffish, making out my inquiry to be a hard and fast accusal of deliberately misleading my family. The representative assured me they would have their supervisor followup. They continued to state very clearly that their sales reactions are audio and video recorded, and requested my family's name to pass to their supervisor so they could review the incident. When I stated I'd preferred to give the information to the supervisor directly and review the information together, the representative was no longer willing to assist, now stating they might followup with me, but in a tone suggesting nothing would come of this. I attempted to call back to provide the requested information so we could move forward, but after reaching the desk was transferred back into the indefinite hold loop.I am requesting Wyndham make this experience right by providing an explanation, and knowing with no uncertain terms the video/audio exist would like those as well. I never intend to spend money with them, and will ensure no one I know does either thanks to this experience and the horrible service provided in contacting them directly.Business response
