On July 1, 2024, I dropped off a very small package to be returned to ******. The cashier quoted me a price of $1.69 which I agreed but over charged by charging me $4.87.Business response

Hello- We apologize for the confusion. Amazon requires certain return items to be pre-packaged and pre-labeled. We provide package and labeling services as a convenience to our customers. The $4.87 charge covers the poly bag used to package your item along with printing the label to place on your return package. Should you have further questions, we encourage you to contact our store directly and we will be happy to assist.Customer response

I am rejecting this response. I have attached a copy of the receipt. It says I was charged for personal computer use 1-15 mins $2.50 ( I never used the computer), label $0.39 and poly bag $1.69. I never used the computer but was charged. That not right!Business response

The uploaded receipt shows you were charged correctly. The "Computer Use" price is charged each time we print a label from an email. The "eprint B/W page" is the price charged for the printed label.Initial Complaint

Had a small printer shipped by this store. I had the exact same printer shipped by the ups store in Greenville South Carolina to my same address in Florida and packaging and shipping was $47.00 I live in pensacola and they are in Daytona so it was in state shipped UPS ground delivery (least expensive option). They charged $112.00 to ship it in state and 75 less miles. I called to store to speak with the owner and was told" they fly by night" and I wouldn't be able to speak with them. the person on the phone then told me she didn't set the prices and she was going to explain the algorithm tp me that determined their pricing. She then said there nothing she could do. I told her I would take care of it and this is one of my attempts. The $112.00 charge was $59 packaging and $53 shipping. The box was 28x18x12 and the item had a single layer of bubble wrap around it, The box probably cost $3.00 they packaged it in less than 5 minutes.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/10/13) */ We appreciate your inquiry. The best way to get ahold of the owner is to call and leave your name and number or send an email to [email protected]. We aren't sure why our team told you differently and we've addressed this with our crew to prevent the confusion from happening in the future. All The UPS Store locations are independently owned and set their own box and packing prices. It appears you were charged correctly for your shipment with fragile packing. The shipping prices are set by UPS and are determined by weight, size, distance, delivery location, etc.
