I went to *** of Daytona and I spoke with the dealer and informed him that my car was totaled in an accident and i needed a car to get back and forth to work. I then told him that my last car was $540 a month and I did not want to spend anymore then $600-$650 a month in payments. He stated that in order for that to happen i needed to put $7000 down in which I did. I then signed paperwork that did not state the monthly payment and he brought me the keys and ***** envelope with the extra keys and the owners manuals. I did not have insurance on any vehicle and he told me to give them an old card just so he can get me off the lot. So the girl came to the car and started showing me features etc and then i left with the car no insurance or anything. I then got a bill in the mail a month later and the payments said $883 a month. Which i am a single mother of 4 and was homeless at the time living in a hotel. I then go to look at the paperwork because i wanted to see what was done, and i found out that not only did he misinform me about the monthly payment but he lied and said i paid $10k down and traded in a 2004 ****** corolla and i never even owned a ******. I now am having severe issues affording this monthly payment and at risk of losing my car and all the money put into this car. please help i have been looking for a lawyer for over 10 months now
