            I have called, emailed and left voicemails for 15 months trying to resolve a billing issue with an HOA, and never received a response. I finally received a call back today after leaving another message, from a manager Cathy and she had an immediate attitude before I even told her why I was calling. I have disputed the amounts every time while attaching all my payment receipts in the emails, and they still put an incorrect lien on my home. It's almost impossible to describe the level of incompetence I'm dealing with. I've spoken to the HOA directly after many attempts also, and was told they didn't order a lien be put on my home. Also, they told me the amount of the lien didn't match their records either. I was then told they can't help or talk to me anymore because it was with "legal" now. I would like the lien removed immediately as it is affecting my able to refinance.

            I have been living here for Almost 16 years now.I have never have problems when I want to do any projects on my house.Recently I applied for HOA permit to build a fence, patio and paint my property.The process started on April of this year till now I didn't receive any permit from HOA.I made a lot of calls and e-mail them a lot of time but it seems no one wants to help me.Sometimes they will answer me and tell me they forgot to give my paper to so called board of directors.I don't think it's really fair for homeowner who wants to improve the looking of his/her house to beg like that? The permit I got from city of Daytona is almost expired and still they don't even email me back to at least inform me of progress.

            Thank you for your comment. After speaking with the ARC committee, who is responsible for approvals & denials, we have determined the following. Please note, approvals and denials are not a service of our company, it is a Board and/or committee who must approve, not us.
            The ARC meeting was schedule for the May 4th meeting for back patio extension and exterior paint change only, both items were tabled due to no survey and no permit being submitted as requested.

            After receiving missing items, both items were approved in the June meeting.

            A meeting was scheduled for August for the fence but it was temporarily tabled due to no updated drawing of a gate in the back being provided and no photo picture of the exact fence being installed, which the committee needs to see for approval.

            Once the missing documentation was provided, the committee approved quickly and owner was notified.
