This hotel is listed online as a boutique hotel. When we arrived onsite, check in was 4pm, we arrived at 4:40pm. The door code provided did not work. I walked to the office and the sign on the door said office hours til 5pm. The door was locked and no note on the door. I rang the doorbell which was a ring door bell. I rang the door bell 3x. I finally called the phone number on my booking and text and no answer. I called maintenance on the confirmation number and no answer. He did call me back within 5 minutes and walked over within 10 min and he couldn't get his code to work either. I gave us a key. Upon arriving inside the room is was VERY hot in the room. It 92 degrees outside that day. I asked about the air conditioner and he said I needed to turn it on. He did assist with that. As we surveyed the room, there was no smoke detector at all. The bathroom was dirty and had toothpaste and dirt on faucet handles. The bed side table has black dirt all over it. The counter top for the mini kitchen was dirty. There was a table attached to the wall that had glass water marks all over it and was barely hanging on the wall. The bed pillow was just throw in the middle of the bed. It was like someone was in there and left quickly is why I feel this matters. We sat down on the bed to relax and the bed started sinking to the floor, it was broke. I texted & called maintenance with no response. The rug that was all across the entire floor was completely dirty and filthy. I had my own clorox wipes and proceeded to clean the entire room and the dirt from table, bed side table, bathroom and counter all came off. There is no way this unit was cleaned before we arrived. In my confirmation it said if I needed to change my reservation to shorten my stay I needed to give 24 hour notice. I emailed, called and text (all numbers and emails where I had gotten responses to prior) 1 week in advance stating I only needed 1 night stay not 2. We stayed April 7th. Not April 8th. They still have not responded to any of my messages. I attached all pictures since I have returned of the condition of the room and no response. They also charged me in full for 2 nights. I have also contacted the fire department about no smoke alarm. I would appreciate your help in this matter. Thank you so much!
