The company is out of business and I need the work order info they used when they ordered my blinds from **************** so I can get them repaired. ****** USA only deals with the blinds companies direct. I need to know the order info, purchase order etc.Initial Complaint

Order Date and Number: December 19, 2023 1:13 PM Payment ID: ************* Order ID: 89CB86TD1338M I ordered a large custom blind from US Blinds-**************************** on December 19, 2023. It is now 3 months and I have yet to hear when I should expect to get my blinds. I made a down payment of $530.00 at that time which was 50% down. I was told it would be 6 to 8 weeks before the blinds would be in. It is now 13 weeks and I haven't heard from them. I've tried calling various telephone numbers including **************, **************, and only get a message indicating that we are currently unavailable. I've also called **************************** cell number ************** from her business card and the man who answers said I have the wrong number.Please help me resolve this matter.Initial Complaint

Ordered entire household of widow treatments on November 6, 2023. My consultant is *******************************, estimated 4 to 6 weeks delivery. *** called repeatedly, leaving messages and no call backs. Paid down payment $3000.00 credit card & ******* in check.Ive messaged customer service for refund, no response. Went to 2 locations, Nova rd people moving office furniture for liquidation. We ordered solar shades for ************** in spring of 2023. They were installed in mid-August 2023. Since then the service team has been out several times to fix issues with the shades. The last time they came out was Jan 2 **** and we were told the installers needed to talk to the boss to resolve the issue and that we should call back at the end of the week. We have called and left messages multiple times over the last three weeks but nobody has us called back. So we went to the ************ showroom on Jan23 and it has a sign on the door that says closed 'til the first of the year. Then we went to the ************* showroom and that too was closed. It looks like this company may have gone out of business and left its customers hanging?Initial Complaint

On Dec. 7, 2023 I ordered two Soluna Roller Shades from US Blinds. The salesman came to my home and I paid half of the order. This amounted to $598.34. I was told it would be six to eight weeks. ***************************** was the salesman. Right after the new year I started calling. ***** number had been disconnected and no one answered at the business. I started going by the business every day to no avail. Finally, today, January 16th, I found two enployees there who told me the business was closed and filing for bankruptcy. They checked and my order was there on the wall but had never been ordered from the manufacturer. I believe that when I ordered the blinds the owner, *********************, already knew that he was going out of business but took my money. He is a ***** of the lowest kind taking money from people knowing he was not going to perform the service. I am 80 years old and cannot afford this kind of loss.Initial Complaint

Blinds purchased from US Blinds store ******************** with deposit paid of $5167.48 on 9/13/2023. The staff came to our unit twice to measure with supervisor of installation measuring on second trip. Installation was set for the week of December 5. Two weeks before December 5 I called and found out the blinds were not in stock yet from the manufacturer. No one could explain the delay. They placed a rush on the order and the blinds were delivered to be installed on December 15. On the day of install the installation team claimed ********** turned in the order measurements incorrectly. They were able to install the Smart Blinds but not the roll down room darkening units. The service supervisor came and stated he would take them back and cut to appropriate size. On a second visit the blinds were still incorrect, the cut side of the binds had frayed during the cut down and installer stated it they would not be appropriate for installing. Also, the two roll down blind motors would not work and we were told they would need to be reordered. The installation team advised us to speak with the service department as well as the owner *************************** at the US Blinds in ******* before placing a reorder to review how the blinds should be installed. Multiple calls and multiple messages have gone unanswered by the sales and installation teams. It has been over a month now with no return call and our order is not finished. We need to communicate related to instillation specifics but they refuse to return our calls.Initial Complaint

I bought shades from US Blinds on 6/21/2023 for $1,455.47. I am disputing the shades that where installed. The shades show wavy horizontal lines that move when the shades move. This makes it nauseating to look at. I gave them the opportunity to repair this issue, but they sent replacements that where exactly the same. I returned both sets of blinds back with the installer. I sent an e mail to US Blinds on the 8/17/2023 asking for a refund in 7 days, but they have not responded. order *****Business response

We had a custom order manufactured and installed at our client's request due to the bright light and intense heat that the homeowners were experiencing in their porch area. The property owners were complaining about the wavy look that they experienced when they were looking out of their solar shades which were installed in front of their screened enclosure. We had indicated that this is an unusual optical effect, called the Moire Effect thatmay occur dependent on the time of day or even a specific season as well as any movement of the fabric screen during periods of gusts or winds; and that this could possibly be only a temporary effect. After consulting with our manufacturer's representative, we then had another set of solar screens made which had a different fabric weave or openness factor as a method of reducing or eliminating this optical effect. We had scheduled an install appointment and when we attempted to install them at the home were asked to leave the property by the husband in addition to removing the ordered screen product away from the residence. Our company did not get the opportunity to provide a solution to the problem experienced by the homeowner.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because:
The wavy lines where always there didn't matter time of day or sun. According to the installer the replacement shades where the same so the problem would still be there. Therefore we requested a refund.

It is unlikely that our installer would have indicated that a new and different product ordered would be the same as previously ordered which
is clearly indicated on the work order as well as bill of lading.
That said, we were not given the opportunity to redress the situation as the customer was insistent upon our leaving the property and removing
the solar shades which were ordered. A refund is not warranted or justified for this reason.
