We hired CN Tree Service to cut down two dying oak trees from our property. They cut the trees down on June 30, 2022, and piled all of the small debris on the side of our yard for the city to pick up and haul away. We paid them $3,350 total. The next day, July 1, CN Tree Service did work in our neighbor's yard, and dumped big tree logs into OUR side yard. This caused our sewer clean out drain to crack. We did not give them permission to dump our neighbor's logs in our yard, and I told them I did not like how it was messing up our yard, and I was concerned about the sewer pipe. However, I figured this was all just to make it easier for the city to haul the debris away. So I did not cause a bigger fuss, but I was mad that they did not ask me first if it was alright to dump my neighbor's tree debris in MY yard. My husband realized the sewer clean out was cracked after we saw that the cap was missing after CN Tree Service finished working. We called them, and Eric came out to assess the damage and said it was going to an expensive fix, but that they would take care of it "asap." Later we saw that a new cap had been put on, by someone that was there when we were not home. The sewer pipe was still cracked down inside though, so we tried to contact CN Tree Service back to see when they would be back to fix the cracked pipe. We have never been answered, replied to, and it has been almost one month since they damaged our property. They have ignored all of our calls and messages.Business response

We regret this customer had a poor experience. After we hired a professional company to assess the damage, we were informed that the damage was not caused by a crack, however it was caused by root growth under the pipe, which is not uncommon. Since the damage was not caused by this particular job, we informed the customer that we would not be covering the cost of repair.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because: CN never had a professional look at the damage. We renovated our property that same year and did plumbing work, and the drain out pipe was not cracked before the trees were cut down by CN. We watched their equipment run over our side yard the entire day and told them we did not want them dropping hunks of tree debris over there, and they brushed us off.It seems like a mute point now, since it took so long for the company to respond to my complaint. I think if it takes this long for a response to happen, then that highlights the negligence of the company and their poor communication. They also took a year to reply to ****** reviews, which is embarrassing for them too. If I was looking online at company reviews and saw that it took them that long to reply to a customer complaint, then I would know to not hire them.

Mam you are a dishonest person an that's is the only truth here. We did not respond for so long because our conscious was clear. We only responded then an now because we were advised by a representative of ours. The fact still remains we did not break it. The lid was missing an u had roots growing threw your pipe. Period an end of discussion. Now u may say whatever u like as elequently an beautifully put as u like after this an the fast will still remain.. You are dishonest in this case. Still I'm empathetic an I do not know why but there it is. I truly hope you have a blessed life. It is to special an precious to go on with this non-sense. With love CN
