I checked for oil leaks on this car before i bought it and found none. Mechanic states it has been leaking for some te making it apparent if had been cleaned up before i looked at it. The pictures show the leakage the next day. Repairs are estimated at $2,000. Seller offers $400 towards repairsBusiness response

Good morning this is **** I just called you
I sent you copy for the test drive paper showing he did test drive in the same day he bought the car and he took the car around one hour 15 minutes to test drive and check it with his mechanic
and I sent you another paper, which is the as is form. He already signed it up And another paper from ******* highway safety the *** showing that I don't have any violation or I didn't do anything wrong with him because the car is As is and by the way I offered him to send the car to my mechanic to help him but he refused !!!

The dealers response to my claim is not accurate. My wife and I took the car for a brief drive of about 10 minutes and never took it to any mechanic. We purchased the car home and the following morning my drive was covered with oil that had leaked from the motor. I took to a garage and had it checked out. The mechanic told me that it was a major repair and the is*** had been present for a long time. On the car lot I did look under the car and it was dry. It had to have been cleaned before I looked at it. I received a call from the State regarding my complaint and they told me that they would have taken action against this dealer but he was protected by the "as is" law and suggested that I *** him for fraud.
