      The worst experience we have ever had!
      Last October 8, 2021 I booked a two bedroom apartment #1601 with *********** for December 10-11. Their confirmation states we pay half the rental, $270.87, at time of booking, which we did. The final amount was due upon arrival to the property, Daytona Ocean Resorts. We never received any emails or phone calls from Booking or the agent, Cindy G***** from Daytona Ocean Resorts. I brought my confirmation information for the apartment. The lady at the counter informed my that my reservation was cancelled and the apartment was rented to someone else. How can that be? I didn't cancel! Cindy, the agent told me she cancelled it yesterday, because my credit card was closed. My card was void, because the credit card company said there was fraudulent activity on it and issued me a new card. I explained this to Cindy, but she angrily said I probably ddn't pay the merchants, that's why my card was cancelled. I told her I have a new card from the same company. My contract says I pay the balance at the property when i arrive. She didn't care. Cindy said she tried emailing me several time with no response. Well, an email will not go through and will come back un-deliverable if hotmaail is used instead of hotmail. That is why I never received the emails. She had my phone number, but never phoned me or left a message.Cindy G***** said there was nothing she can do and I will loss my $270.89. She was very contentious and would not accommodate us. She did call back and said she had a one bedroom, #1606, available for $443.62 and she would use our deposit of $270.87 plus the difference, which should come to $172.75. We accepted, but she charged us $235.87, that's overcharge of $60.14. I told her I wanted a refund of that amount. Well, she was like a raving maniac and wouldn't let me speak. There was no reasoning with this person and she would not give me a refund! Just as the others complained about cleanliness, that was the case here also.

      I was not offered a refund at all from Cindy ****** for Oceanwalk ******** / 1 bedroom dates paid in full Sept.27,2021 for Oct.27-Oct.31, 2021 check out. We had to cancel 5 days before check in because of Covid. We will never stay there again. We do go to Florida multiple times a year. We will stay where you're given a refund. There are plenty of "hotels" in the area. She's willing to loose future guests and good reviews over $471.00 she could've kindly refunded. But, greed is her friend!
