Spent $1200 plus with a emergency fee from the first day. 1200 followed after the job was done. They exchanged my water heater saying it was shorted and cannot be fixed. My ACs pressure switch gave up and flooded my water heater. They took their evaluation and came bk the next day. I notice my pressure switch was now replaced so this problem can happen again. They wanted to charge me a 2nd service fee for them to come out when it should been done the first time around.Business response

I would like to outline the events described in ******************** complaint. I have also attached our invoices along with pictures to review the details of these events. On June 6, 2023, a DBK service technician with our HV** department was dispatched to **** Arbor Lakes Circle for "** is leaking" called in by ***********************. Upon arrival my technician found that the ** unit was leaking water onto the water heater. The technician diagnosed that the drain line was clogged. The technician than cleared out the lines per industry standards and resolved the issue. The ** was running as it should when the technician left. $465.00 was not collected at the time of the service. **************** also requested the water heater to be replaced as the water leaking from the ** unit damaged the water heater beyond repair. On June 7, 2023, a DBK service technician with our plumbing department replaced the water heater for $1,200.00 and payment was made for this work that was completed. **************** was contacted for payment at which he stated that he would not be paying the bill for the ** service call. Several attempts have been made to collect this payment.
Errors in ******************** complaint:
- Spent $1200 plus with a emergency fee from the first day.
Truth- **************** was charged $465.00 for the ac service, which he has not paid to date. See attached.
- 1200 followed after the job was done.
Truth- **************** was only charged $1,200.00 for the water heater replacement the next day. He was not charged $1,200.00 twice. See attached.
- I noticed my pressure switch was replaced so this problem can happen again.
Truth- Not sure what **************** is meaning to say here, but the float switch was not replaced but cleaned out along with drain lines and the ** unit restored back to working condition.
- They wanted to charge me a 2nd service fee for them to come out when it should have been done the first time around.
Truth- DBK did not at any point charge **************** a 2nd service fee. It was recommended to **************** that the ** unit was very old and needed to be replaced and if proper maintenance is not kept up with on this old ** unit the issue would result in the same outcome.
