Try to cancel insurance due to moving out of the States from U.S.A. to Japan for relocation. Have zero desire to be mailed by any business nor do I wish to give my new address to any company. Talking with insurance agent in United States I was told I needed to request a cancellation. I did via email requesting cancellation. After several emails back and forth from August 20th to August 22nd. I was never sent what was described for cancellation form instead was given another form to fill out with additional information. Already spoke with the agent about this and after the payment processed from my bank account he transferred me to another agent. Agent David P***** "Not sure who would tell you that. We would never cancel a policy without getting something signed. They will e-mail you the cancellation form through DocuSign for an electronic signature." Instead of getting a DocuSign form I was sent an adobe form. Told to fill out and either fax it to a number given or create the progressive account through the application. Payment charge processed from the company. I was trying to avoid being billed for insurance I am no longer using with no vehicle anymore. I need to payment they posted refunded as quickly as they charged it 4 days early. The 26th is when insurance charges my bank account.
